It's not version 2.5 But version 2.
Buyers please note the photo is misleading as it shows the American US version series 2.5 which has the better overall smooshy mushy bestie companions, but what you will receive when you buy is the normal UK series 2 and also cheaper to just buy from Smyths at £9.99 each.
