Shaun the Sheep: The Complete Series [Blu-ray]

Hi all, My Review: This wonderful show about Shaun, Bitzer, The Farmer as well as many other colorful characters, have made this a must own show for those who appreciate good and wholesome humor for both kids and adults alike. It stars Shaun (a sheep) who gets into a lot of mischievous and hilarious issues, living on the farm with his many co-horts who seemingly cause most of them. That's where all the fun begins. Watching how Shaun and sometimes Bitzer the dog make everything normal, just in the nick of time, before the farmer finds out anything has gone awry. There are lots of characters to watch and enjoy, that help, fill out this wonderful show with charm and excitement. Enjoy Everyone and till next time! May Jesus Christ bless you all!

Great humor for the whole family. Not many shows can keep your attention, give you as many laughs, be family friendly, and not even have dialogue. Very creative and well worth the watch.

Some of the best that Aardman has to offer, adults and children will enjoy this.

This collection has every episode of Shaun the Sheep and several specials. The only thing it’s missing is the two films. The resolution quality is all over the place. This is a source issue, not a release issue. It ranges from 480i to 1080p with most of the series being 1080i. The first season is rough to look at. The source is PAL at 25fps, but this release has been converted to 24fps without issue. Overall encoding is very good. Seasons range from 2.0 to 5.1 audio. There’s a few very minor omissions, but unless you’re a hardcore fan, you’ll never know. As an example, the “Nintendo 3DS” shorts used the Super Mario Bros. Theme, but when they uploaded the shorts to YouTube they removed it due to rights issues. That’s the version in this collection. Overall, this is about the best the series will ever be and the quality control is good. Recommended.

Just as good as I remember

This set includes almost all of the adventures of Shaun the Sheep, excluding his advent in the Wallace and Grommit short, A Close Shave and the two movies, Shaun the Sheep - the Movie and Farmagedden. It includes the TV series seasons 1 through 6, including those only released on Netflix up till this point, and also the Christmas special, The Flight Before Christmas and another longer special The Farmer's Lamas, and some other shorter material. Lots of fun. I loved The Flight Before Christmas. My only complaint is that the documentation doesn't seem to divide the episodes into "season 1", "season 2", etc, just has them in order. So if you want to find a particular season you might need to consult some online reference source. But over all, a wonderful addition to the collection of any Shaun the Sheep fan, even if it ends up with duplication of the early seasons for those of us who have been collecting for years.

Amazing series…even if you’re not familiar…buy it! Worth adding to your collection! Kids love it. For goodness sakes, I love it! Not really a verbal series (communicated through animal sounds, facial expressions, music, etc). But so well executed. And the amount of material that’s covered…who knew sheep could get into such a variety of antics? ;) Hours upon hours of fun. Watch one…or watch a bunch! (Episodes are about 7 mins each).
