Works great for ticks, I don't get bit anymore.

My home is surrounded by woods and creeks I bought this to try and to.see if it works and I will be ordering more when summer comes along. I can actually set and enjoy outside again!

I live on the coast in NC, and between the humidity and heat, the mosquitos in the summertime can be awful. For some reason, mosquitos seem to bite me more than others, and for years, I have been looking for a solution based on the following criteria. To answer the major question, yes, this definitely helped me avoid the majority of mosquito bites.I wanted to avoid:Greasy residue on the skin.Overpowering odor that typically comes with bug sprays.I have sensitive skin, so some bug sprays (especially those with deet or too much essential oil) would irritate my skin.A product that would not be toxic or bothersome to my dog or reptile (which I handle outside).Would hold up to sweating outside.So far, this product has met all my needs and seems to work well! Here are a few notes on it:It is not "perfect," meaning like any mosquito repellent, it only works as well as you apply it, and even if used/applied perfectly, it will not prevent 100% of mosquito bites. With that said, I noticed a dramatic reduction in bites. I have been using this for the past three months, probably 4-5 days a week when I am outside gardening, etc.I have tried a few different methods of applying it, and here are my thoughts. Unlike traditional bug spray, which you apply directly to the skin/clothes, this is a soap, and thus how effective it is depends on how much of it is left on your skin. This may be counterintuitive as you usually want to wash off the soap. After using this for a few months, I found the best method is to lather up very well and only lightly rinse the soap off. It will not leave a noticeable residue doing this, which is great! Do not scrub it off your skin, or it will not work as well.The Scent: I expected a more powerful citronella scent, but on a scale from 0-10, with 10 being a citronella candle at full strength in your face, I would give it a 5. Even so, it works wonderfully.Itch/Swelling Reduction: Although I did not buy it for this purpose, I did notice that if I did get a mosquito/ant bite on a day I did not use the product, it actually helps with the itching/swelling. I usually swell up a lot.Moisturizing: Only writing this because there was a star rating for this category. Being that this is a soap bar and not a liquid, I did not buy this with the intention of it being moisturizing, nor would I expect it to be. The only thing I can say is that my skin will dry out with some harsh soaps, but I did not notice any drying with this product, although there was no "added moisturizing." So it's a 50/50, I guess? Although it's not recommended to use bar soap in your hair as it can be drying, I will say using it in your hair will help dramatically with keeping mosquitos away from your face. I did try this, and it only dried my hair as much as any bar of soap would.I would love to see this soap in a liquid formulation; that's all I can say. Other than that, it worked great for me!I hope this review helps!

I saw this product on a video . It looked like it worked Great .But this product is " SNAKE OIL " i was on a trip to Central America and let me tell you the moskitos loved me just as much after i showerd with this soap then before i showerd . Maybe I got a bad batch but I used all 3 soaps, smells good but did not keep moskitos away , I ended up buying Off .

Found this soap when I was looking into mosquito protection because I am very sensitive to bites. Tell me why it not only prevents mosquito bites, but also cured my athletes foot, cleared up my body pimples, and made a small irritation go away overnight??!! I purchased 3 bars and immediately gifted one to my neighbor after seeing what it can do.Buy a 3 pack. You will not regret it. But follow the instructions and do not use it on your face.

It worked really good.i made the mistake of ordering more from another seller.not the same at all.ill only buy from you.id like to order bigger amounts though but I'll stick with this seller because I tried with 2 different ones and it was a different soap. This soap right here WORKS
