I’ve tried a lot of different jeans, but the 512s are easily one of the best-fitting pairs I’ve owned. The light wash has that clean, modern look — not overly faded, just right. As someone who has rocked the 511 from as long as I can remember I can tell you to make the switch to the 512 NOW. These are perfectly tapered, and so incredibly better than the 511.

Fit as expected, lasted a long time, but skinnier than they look. I don’t have thick legs but it makes me look like I do. Good farm pants though

Perfect fit and great quality

Finally I can get bigger waist and tapered legs. When I would purchase Levi jeans before 40x30 I would get great fitting waist but the legs were so big (my legs are not big) I would have to get the legs altered but they still looked like balloons. These jeans are perfect.

The most comfortable Levis I've ever owned and I have about 50 pairs. I am a big fan of the 512 style, but I've found that the type of material they use to make the jeans will make a big difference on how they fit, feel and wear. These look slim, but the built in stretch feels like a loose pair of cotton PJs. I actually have to wear a belt to keep them up, especially when I have a wallet and cell phone in my back pockets. I liked them so much that I bought 2 identical pairs. Although I don't need any more Levis, as my closet looks like a Levis department store shelf, I am considering getting a pair that is one size smaller, just to see if they will hug me body a little tighter and I won't need to use a belt.

Très confortable

I wore these jeans just once a week and was careful not to put too much strain on them as another pair purchased on the same day had failed a week prior. Despite this, the pair ripped right on the seam. Annoying to have two pairs of jeans fail in the exact same spot. As mentioned in the review for the other pair that failed, a different pair that I purchased 8 years ago is still fine, but these new ones deteriorate rapidly. No idea if Levi will accept a warranty exchange. Will update this review, and the other one accordingly.
