BUY IT NOW!!!!
I just started, this is my second day sewing! LOVE THIS MACHINE. Very easy to use for beginners and looked brand new. Came in the box, had the manuals, extra bobbins and needles. Great for the price! I already made a couple of things and it’s wonderful

Definitely recommend
It works really well. I have used a sewing machine before, but this is my first one I personally own. For me the directions were confusing at first, but then I started to understand better after a while. It’s pretty easy and I got the hang of it really fast, over all I definitely recommend and is a really good sewing machine over all….

Works like a dream!
I am a widower who suddenly found himself in need of sewing skills. I considered sewing hems by hand, but I was pretty sure I'd hose that up. My wife had a machine, but I would need to go to technical school to learn how to run it. I saw this online, and for the price, I thought I would chance being able to work this one. The instructions on how to thread it are pretty clear. I struggled a bit to thread it, but that was due to my eyesight and no fault of the machine. Once I had it set up, I let it set for a while because I was afraid to try it in case it wouldn't work. Once I hit the foot pedal, I was pleasantly surprised! I don't imagine it could have run any smoother and the stitches were tight as could be. I will highly recommend this machine to anyone with beginner skills. I love mine!

Satisfied
I am a beginner and I was able to thread the bobbin and set it up to sew immediately. It is very easy to use if you follow the instructions. Attractive sturdy and very functional.. I give it a 5 out of 5.

Good beginner machine but slightly confusing
It's a good machine. Im a beginner and this is my first machine. It took me an hour or two to understand it but eventually I got it. Once I finished setting it up I started using the machine. However, the machine kept eating my fabric and I had a problem with the machine letting my thread go. I do with that it had more stitch options and the chance to change the stitch length however you wanted without the preset stitch lengths for the certain stitches. But for someones who's never used a machine before it's pretty good.

Easy and straightforward
I owned a sewing machine before and I got rid of it a couple of years ago. I always found it very aggravating and confusing. I recently decided I needed to try again because my hand stitching looks like a child has done it. I only need to be able to repair and hem things on occasion, so I wanted to be economical. I wanted to find something that would be easy to deal with. This refurbished Brother machine (in aqua) turned out to be the perfect choice! All the parts were in the box, including the instruction manual. I did watch several videos online to get a close-up view for threading the machine, placing the bobbin, and getting started. Threading the machine was super easy! My first project was to hem a top that was too long. My first attempt had to be unpicked with a seam ripper, because it was not straight. After that, I got the hang of it. At one point, when I finished one side, the threads did not pull from the machine easily to be cut. I took the bobbin out and put it back in again (Very easy) and The problem was solved. For the material I was working on, I did end up changing the stitch settings for a closer stitch and changed the tension from a four to a five. After the shirt I repaired a pair of dress pants. I’m very happy with this purchase, and I have ordered a soft storage/ carry case for it. On a side note, I did not have to fill/ load a bobbin this time because I had bought a pack of bobbins in various colors after doublechecking that it fit this machine. The bobbins were the exact right size for the machine. So if you are a beginner or just someone who does repairs, this Brother model Is an excellent choice!

Perfect standard machine. I have an multi use embroidery machine ITS BIG & heavy. I wanted a light weight pull out any where machine. Absolute amazing price and everything you would need starting out. Definitely recommend refurbished over new.

Disappointing Experience with a Faulty Sewing Machine
Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1/5)I recently purchased a refurbished sewing machine, hoping to save some money while still getting a reliable and functional product. Unfortunately, my experience with this particular machine has been extremely disappointing, to say the least. Within just two days of use, it completely stopped working, leaving me frustrated and regretful of my purchase. One of the possible reasons for this machine's failure could be insufficient testing after refurbishing. It seems as though the company did not thoroughly assess its functionality before putting it back on the market. This lack of attention to detail is not only disappointing but also reflects poorly on the quality control practices of the manufacturer.Furthermore, I can't help but wonder if this sewing machine is simply a low-quality product. Its performance was subpar from the beginning, as the stitches were often uneven and the machine frequently jammed. Even when it was functioning, it felt clunky and unstable. It is disheartening to invest in a product that fails to deliver on even the most basic sewing tasks.Overall, I cannot recommend this sewing machine to anyone. Whether it's due to inadequate testing after refurbishing or simply being a poorly designed product, my experience has been nothing short of a disappointment. I would advise potential buyers to steer clear of this particular machine and invest in a more reliable and reputable brand instead.
