Bosch MUM4 MUM4807GB Kitchen Machine 2.7 kg, 600 W - White/Stainless Steel

This is the best mixer/processor I've had. Big enough for family of four adults, so easy to use, wash & store & vey compact/lightweight. Have the Shredder/grating/slicing attachment plus extra discs - work brilliantly & easy to wash. Extra plastic bowl is useful too.

This mixer does it's job well and I do like the design which is little different to traditional mixers. The only problem is, it's not as sturdy as I expected form Bosch. I didn't expect KitchenAid quality at this price level, but it doesn't feel that solid when mixing bread dough. However, it does mix whatever I throw in the bowl and time will tell. So far, so good.

Basically I love this addition to my kitchen arsenal, but it's not perfect. Ive only had it a week or two but have used it almost every day to make cakes, muffins and meringues. Somehow I've managed for years with simply a hand mixer, but the upgrade to a stand mixer changes the game hugely. The design of the multi wired whisk is excellent and gets a huge amount of air in to egg whites - and of course the fact that you can leave it to its own devices means you can get on with other parts of the recipe and save a lot of time. The regular beaters cream butter and sugar ok, would have been better if I'd warmed the butter a little, and next time I'll use the whisk again, but the almond cake I made was delicious. Beating eggs and sugar worked brilliantly, and the cake I made with this basis was at least twice the size of the same recipe made with a hand mixer! I find the beaters incorporate all the mixture very effectively leaving very little at the edges - I wondered if the person who complained about this hadn't fitted the bowl properly? It fits very precisely into slots in the base and is held still while the beater rotates and sort of swirls around the bowl. The mixer is very quiet in operation and doesn't move about on the counter at all. It's easy to keep clean, and with the mixing arm folded down takes up very little room. I keep the bowl and beaters in a cupboard. The only slight annoyance I find is that if you raise the beater when it is facing forward it catches on the front edge of the bowl, a quick touch on the switch to bring it further back solves this. It is apart from this little glitch extremely well designed and sleek and amazing value.

Good little compact stand mixer with plenty of accessories ( many are separate purchases, but you buy what you need ), well made and doesn't make to much noise, good at bread dough making.All together I'm impressed far better than I thought it would be.....

It kneads nicely but the motor is loud and the whole machine shakes on speeds higher than two.

I like the compact design, and works well for my general baking needs

I can't comment on the efficiency of the beater and whisk attachment on this product, as having spent almost two hours (yes really) trying to fit the dough hook on it now won't come off. The 'picture' instructions are totally pointless and unhelpful.So I can now only make bread with this machine. Made a few different loaves using different flours and recipes and they have all been really poor, the dough ends up in a big twist that welds to the dough hook so have to keep stopping and removing the sticky mix from the hook & scraping the dry mix from the bottom of the bowl - so the machine will probably go in the bin sometime soon. It is clunky, heavy and very awkward to use and I am sorry I was encouraged by all the positive reviews I read before purchase.Had to give one star to log this review but overall it doesn't even rate one star. I was a big Bosch fan until I bought this machine and have many other Bosch kitchen and garden appliances which are all excellent. 100% disappointed with this one and a total waste of money.

Delivered really fast, the first day of the expected time. It was a good choise, with reasonable price and without all the expensive extra tools... Just the three different mixing heads.
