This grass protector installed very well and performed a described. Cut your grass first prior to installation, this will allow new grass to grow through and fill the grids. It's sturdy and thick but soft enough to roll out and pin in place.

Good quality grass protection mesh at a very reasonable price.Like most of these meshes, it is difficult to get it to lie flat without an excessive amount of pegging.If you're wanting this for temporary car parking you'll have no problems, but if you're wanting it to be more cosmetically pleasing while waiting for the grass to grow through, you'll need to spend a bit of time cutting and using a heat gun to try to get it to lay flat.However, this mesh is just as good as the others at more than double the cost.

I bought this to stop my deerhound pup turning "her" pert of the garden into a moonscape. After I'd levelled the former lawn, the mesh was really easy to cut and peg down. After reseeding through the mesh and topping over with seived soil, the grass is growing well. She made a couple of half-hearted attempts at digging through the barrier but soon gave up. I've mown it twice now and it's looking like a lawn again..

So p[leased with the quality much thicker than expectedGrass has grown through now stops the chickens from scratching it up.Invisable to the eye now . Wife can cross the lawn on her power chair without difficulty , before we had this it was imposable to cross when it got wet without sinking.

Item as expected for domestic use with a dog worn lawn! Been down a couple of weeks now and grass growing through really well (bit patchy as need to sow new grass seed in places) As our lawn is a bit bumpy had a bit of trouble getting it flat and to run parallel to another strip, but cuts easily and plenty of pegs seem to work. Now mowing and have found a few areas the mower catches on, just pegged down further (needed more than recommended 1 peg per meter, but that might be because we couldn't get it taught enough on bumpy ground) Feel confident after a year will all be hidden, and will stop dog worn area repeat!

I have four dogs and had to lay a new lawn. I put this mesh down to stop them digging and scratching up the grass. You will need lots more pins than it says, I used two rolls and ended up using about three hundred, although my lawn is an odd shape. Cut the lawn short prior to fitting. The mesh was easy to cut, my 13 year old daughter helped to do it. I admit that when it was first finished, the plastic was very noticeable and we doubted that it was ever going to be ok, however, once the grass was cut a couple of times the plastic is invisible. We have scalped a couple of areas where the mesh stuck up, but that’s our fault for not levelling well enough. The dogs haven’t dug it up and they haven’t gotten muddy feet! Now my only problem is the wee patches.
