Easy to use
Great price Bought for my son he loved it and did what he needed it for

Manual is weak.
The scanner is great! It’s very easy to use, even without the manual. However, the scan tool provides a lot of information with a lot of abbreviations that are not spelled out. I thought the manual should provide more information on the scan results but it pretty much just shows what appears on the scan tool screen. This probably wouldn’t be a problem for someone more experienced but I was hoping to find the information in the manual instead of having to look elsewhere.

I used this device for codes on my 2012 ram truck #5 cylinder misfire.

Read the codes on my Ranger.
Works as advertised, Saves me a trip to the auto parts store to read the code. Has many features that I haven't explored yet but so far everything I've used works flawlessly. The instruction manual explains all of the subsystems in detail. Recommended.

Works nicely. Everybody needs this now.
In this day and age, everything on a car is computerized and without an odbc code reader, you are in the dark as to what is wrong. Is it a minor thing? Is it a major thing that must be looked at now before it gets really bad? Even if you can’t fix the car, it is good to have an idea of what is going on so that you are not totally ignorant of what is going on. This tool gives you that knowledge. It is almost plug and play. Very intuitive. Get the code, look up the code. Then research what it takes to fix it. I usually google for YouTube tutorials on what the error is. At least I will know what to expect if I am now able to fix it myself.

Great for home repairs
My car had a check engine light come on and this tool allowed me to diagnose and repair it for a fraction of what the dealer would charge! A simple 20$ part and they were asking 900$ for the service!Everyone should have a tool like this available to check error codes. Saved me a ton of money!!!

Good tool and does what you expect
Got this for my wife's car to see why her dash looked like a Christmas tree. Turns out it was bad O2 sensors and a parking brake sensor. Great tool for troubleshooting!
