Just what I needed. Great product.
So far this has been fantastic.I was a little concerned that after a few charges it may degrade as some people have had cells fail but mine is working well.Charging times are very very fast and the capacity is great. I charge this using my macbook Pro charger so charging the unit itself is much faster than a regular USB c but it still takes a few hours.I have tried multiple devices and it works brilliantly. It even charges my macbook Pro when it is off. Not great for charging while in use, because the MBP is a powerful laptop, however great for charging while travelling and the laptop is off.Build quality is fantastic and has a very premium feel. It is heavy but what do you expect? Its also quite large but for the capacity and performance, I'm willing to deal with the sizeAt the time of writing this review I have fully discharged and charged 4 times. Put under heavy load with my macbook Pro, galaxy S9 and nexus tablet, all worked brilliantly and charged very fast. Should the unit develop issues, I will amend the review, but as of now 10/10

Good battery pack
Admittedly, I heard about this brand on a tech Youtube channel and with my Anker pack giving up, I thought I should give this a try. First of all, the capacity of this pack is great. Allows for multiple charges, without recharging. It has a nice curved design with sharp edges, comfortable to hold but can be a bit slippery. Fine for travelling.3 options for USB ports, with one quick charging (needs a compatible device). Using the USB C port with my iPhone charges faster than the main plug, more comparable to charging an iPhone connected to a Mac. I charge the pack using a MacBook charger which does take a while (couple of hours). I have not tested it for charging the Mac itself but technically, it should not have any issues assuming the output efficiency is above 80% and the Mac is off or sleeping. Most of all, I just hope it lasts for a long time. So far, so good! The only thing missing is a bespoke case, which would be handy for when travelling.Edit: 2 years and still going strong! It’s been on many work/personal trips to Europe and Asia and still works great!

Great value
Physically the height and width dimensions are approximately the same as the Nexus 6P, but of course considerably thicker (and a fair bit heavier). It IS quite weighty, but from some of the drama displayed in the reviews here I was expecting it to break my back! It's not that bad. Sure, you won't want to stuff it in your trouser pocket and go jogging but I would be happy enough walking around with it nested under my Nexus for playing Ingress, or tucked in a jacket pocket or a bag where I don't think I'd notice it much. For my purpose, which is primarily camping, it's just going to be sat there in a tent.Capacity wise.. it charged my Nexus 6P from near flat 4 times (one LED per charge) and still has a little bit of juice left. Don't take any notice of mAh figures as the batteries are different voltages so it's meaningless. Look at Wh figures. The power bank is 72.4Wh (3.6V * 20100mAh), the Nexus 6P is 13.28Wh (3450mAh * 3.85V). Ideally you'd think it'd charge 20100/3450 = 5.5 times, but as others have noted power banks do tend to have a bit of an optimistic figure by the time you factor in conversion circuits and inefficiencies (the power bank has to step up from 3.6 to 5V for USB, then the phone has to step it back down to 3.85V to charge its battery). When all's said and done it'll keep me going for a weekend camping which is what I was after.Charging speed, measured using the Ampere app, is great - it's worth noting when reviewing these products that the 6P will only charge at 3A (even on its own wall adapter) if the battery is below about 30%. I think it's to prolong the life of the battery, seeing as most people will plug in before it gets that low, while giving a fast charge boost to those who most need it (i.e. flat battery). So you have to fully flatten to test, and I was getting 3A over a good USB C to C cable and up to 2.85A or so with the included USB A to C cable.Have you spotted the cardinal sin yet, techies? The included USB C cable is actually an A-to-C cable and it does NOT conform to the USB specification so it will happily charge faster than 2.4A. On the face of it this is good news, yes? It is if you only use the cable with the power bank, but be warned, this cable can damage a computer's USB port because it doesn't have a current limiting resistor and may overload the port. It gets a star knocked off for that (Google's engineers would do a lot worse!) and it would've been averted by simply providing a C to C cable. But to be fair most others don't throw in any sort of cable so it beats those.Interestingly, I made the point about the non-conforming cable on Twitter and a few days later - I don't know if it's a coincidence - a micro USB to USB-C adapter arrived in the post with no note or explanation, and I don't recall ordering one (I deemed it a gift from the USB fairy). I don't see how they could've connected my Twitter and Amazon accounts, and they didn't actually say anything so that remains a bit of a mystery. But I could combine it with the bundled USB A to Micro USB cable to create a conforming cable, should I wish to.Bought on an Amazon flash sale for £20. The nearest competing products (20000mAh with USB C from the company that rhymes with banker for instance) were asking upwards of £35 so this represents excellent value for money.UPDATE: Still going strong September 2017. I now have a Portapow tester and artificial load... on the 3A port I was seeing max 3.2A at 4.9V which is pretty good!

Jackery USB Type-C 20100mAh Powerbank
I admit it, I bought this to use with my Google Nexus 6P as the "Pokémon Go" craze has hooked me. The battery on the Nexus 6P is great, however it appears that every device is suffering from the battery drain that this app causes, and as such I thought it would be best to get a powerbank to help alleviate the issue of running out of juice.I looked through a few products before settling on this one, and the reasoning was because it has the direct USB Type-C port on it. This allows me to fully charge my phone in just over an hour with a USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable. It also has a QC 2.0 and SmartFit USB port on it too, so I can charge my device and a friends at the same time. The product itself is well built and has a great finish to it, it feel very premium. The battery life itself is fantastic and I have not had any issues either charging the powerbank itself or my device from it.When charging the powerbank, you can utilise the USB Type-C port and this charges the device in around 4-5 hours (considerably quicker than most standard USB devices on the market). If you're looking for an external battery that has more than enough juice, quick charging capability and has a decent build quality, then this is definitely the one to choose. Perfect for all of those "Pokémon Go" adventures. Cannot find any faults with it, hence why I am leaving this review (it must be a good product as usually I'm far too lazy to leave reviews!) Brilliant bit of kit.

Great battery pack, delivers power, very well built.
Superb battery pack, very nice, somewhat lighter than I expected. Excellent build quality, good cables packaged with the pack. I've already used it about 5 times, and it works flawlessly. Recharging the battery packs takes a lot of time thought, about 12 hours for me using a built-in wall charger (I think 1A or 2A), but it's possibly my charger, will need to check that further.Be careful if you use it with a USB-C to USB-C cable. USB-C devices self-negotiate the best direction power should be sent to charge the other device. So if your battery pack happens to have a bit less power than your device and you plug them together, USB-C will actually drain your device to recharge the battery pack! No what you want. It's not the battery pack's fault, it's the USB-C standard. My solution is to use the USB-A to USB-C cable instead, and my device is always the one that gets recharged, even if the battery pack is low.
