I’m impressed with the clarity and volume of mobile phone calls in comparison to other makes I have tried. It might be me, but I have found the battery life a little short in comparison to their makes I have tried, hence 4 stars. To be fair, the trade off for a slightly shorter battery life versus great connectivity and sound quality is acceptable. I would recommend this item if you have an older car and need hands free, or if you need additional connectivity for a second phone because your primary phone connects to your vehicle media system.

I've been using this unit now for around 6 weeks. The battery lasted around 5 weeks from a full charge, connected to 2 phones simultaneously for around an average of 6-7 hours per week (with satnav directions running through it) and an average of 30 mins to 1 hour phone calls per week. Not bad going really and better than I had expected. The auto on/off works very well too. Only slight negative is it plays a low battery message when it runs down to 10% battery, which although a good idea it does get a bit annoying that it repeats itself every few minutes.Sounds quality is more than adequate, slightly 'tinny' sometimes when at a louder volume but most of the time perfectly fine. If your car has a fairly quiet drive or you mostly spend time driving at 50mph or less you'll be fine. It's only slightly tinny sounding when I have it turned up loud and that's only needed when I'm driving at 60mph+ and because my car isn't very sound proof! 99% of the time the person on the other end can hear me clearly and the 1% times they can't it's usually poor signal on my mobile which is no fault of the unit.I debated whether to get a Bluetooth unit that played through the car stereo but glad I didn't. I listen to music through the stereo and this unit plays my phone satnav directions. Overall I'm happy with the purchase; does the job well and at a decent price point.

Got this for my dad and he loves it! He mentions it all the time and how great it is. 😂 I believe it has great connection, clear and seems intuitive.

I think this product is good value for the price and once paired with a mobile phone, I think, is quite easy to use. After using the Avantree BT Car kit-BTCK-11, For about a couple of weeks, the mobile phone and the Avantree BTCK-11 would not connect to each other. I contacted Avantree via email and a member of their customer support contacted me via email first and then called me on my mobile phone to explain how to get the mobile phone and the Avantree BTCK-11 to connect to each other again, by simply deleting the Bluetooth connection name on the mobile phone and then doing another Bluetooth search on the mobile phone to pair up the mobile phone and the Avantree BTCK-11 again; since following the advice from Avantree customer care, the Avantree BTCK-11 has been working in a way that fulfills my expectations. The customer care I received from Avantree, I thought, was excellent. I registered the Avantree BTCK-11 with Avantree, for the warranty, on the Avantree website - which requires, as part of the registration, the product model number and the Amazon order number ( the warranty registration that I submitted did not require much information and, I think, is quite easy to complete ).In conclusion, I think the Avantree BTCK-11 is a value for money and useful product, also the customer care from Avantree, I thought, was excellent.I hope this review helps, thank you for taking the time to read it.

I bought this after reading existing reviews and noted the very few negative ones. I have to say that I'm delighted with my purchase. The unit sits unobtrusively on my sun visor and works perfectly. It was simplicity itself to set up and only has one button to push to start/end a call. I have given four stars for the sound quality, not because there is anything wrong with it but because it isn't quite as good as the in-car system in my own vehicle. I have no problem hearing a caller or being heard. One reviewer complained that sometimes the bluetooth connection activated even when he was in his home, cutting off his call. If you have the same problem just turn the device off when you leave the car, it will reconnect quickly as soon as it is turned back on. All in all I have no hesitation in recommending this hands free kit. It looks good and works perfectly.

My Car is 14 years old and the VW factory fitted hands free is on Bluetooth version Nokia 6310 and really has practically bit the bullet, I read the reviews with this and there were a lot more positives than negatives - so I bought one. It was clipped over the visor and my phone was on a cradle no more than 2 feet away. It was in the car for about a week in which time all I got was ‘it’s breaking up’ ‘it keeps cutting out’ ‘you’ll have to say that again it went quiet’ ‘are you there’. I had no problem hearing them but obviously they were struggling with me. I wasn’t expecting perfection but it ended up a complete waste of money and really no better if not slightly worse than my old factory fitted one. I’m looking for something else, but in the meantime it’s on loudspeaker, and although the volume isn’t as good, there are no communication problems at all.40 quid doesn’t get you much nowadays does it.It’s now in the bin.
