These are replacements for the brilliant little thermal printer by Phomemo. My daughter loves the printer, but has rattled through the first cartridge pretty quickly. She loves the print quality, the sharpness etc. These are the manufacturer's replacement for the cartridge that came with it. No change in quality or output. My only complaint is the low yield—I understand that the concept of thermal printing by ribbon means it will be this way, but still it's a high price per page compared to other printing methods.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. You get two genuine Phomemo thermal transfer ribbons for use in Phomemo 831 portable A4 printer. Easy to fit and works just as expected. The expected life of one of these ribbons is approximately 100 A4 pages - I don't know how accurate that measure is, but that seems about right to me. It has to be remembered that this isn't a bulk pinter for every day use, it's for travel and 'now and then' printing where having a full sized printer isn't an option, and you pay a premium for that. NOTE - it doesn't say anywhere on the packaging what printer this is for and the box is marked P-215BK, this ISN'T the printer designation, it's the part number for the ribbon. At £24.99 for two rolls (as at 5 December 2023), if you get 100 pages from each roll that works out at a shade under 12.5p per page which may seem expensive but it really isn't when you consider the cost of printing at a hotel business centre or the confidentiality issues that may arise when travelling on business.

This set of 2 replacement ribbons arrive in a neatly printed branded box measuring approx 26cm x 7.5cm x 4.5cm. These are black replacement ribbons for the Phomemo P831 A4 portable thermal printer. Inside the box, each ribbon is sealed inside a clear plastic bag & the instructions on how to change out the carbon ribbon are on the back of the box they come in, with illustrations as well as written information to help you get it right - it's very straightforward, so after the first time you probably won't need them again. Each ribbon will print approx 50 sheets of A4, depending on how dense your text is, so if you use the printer often it's a good idea to carry a spare. Print is indistinguishable from the ribbon my printer came with & these are genuine Phomemo replacements.

These are exact replacement ribbons for the amazing Phomemo P831 printer - which ships with one ribbon to start you off. If like me, you're now besotted with the printer, then these are just the ticket to continue loving the printer. I was worried when I got the printer, that I had no idea what the price of these ribbons would be, but to me, these are a very fair price, when you consider the quality of the output. Each ribbon produces around 90 sheets of A4 paper - depending on coverage, obviously. But the quality is incredible for the technology used. Highly recommended, as I'd do with the printer itself.

The ink roll fit & lasted way longer than I thought it would. Sometimes it will come unraveled, but it’s really easy to just turn the left and right side dials to roll it back up. Pretty good value for your money with these types of printer ink.
