This set of candle lanterns come in a cardboard box and inside you’ll find the large lantern nicely encase in bubble wrap with the smaller lantern inside the larger one which is protected with Styrofoam strips. It all arrived in immaculate condition, so the packaging was adequate. The lanterns are lightweight and come with a brushed on, weathering effect which makes it look like it’s being well used and has some age to it. The detailing along the top is quite fine with no imperfections and gives it a beautiful look. The glass is held in place with little tabs, and it all feels well built and put together, the door has a simple lift up hinge and it swings open easily. I put an aroma candle inside mine and have one in the corner of the room. The aroma comes up to the top of the inside, and is allowed to escape through the open, detailed mesh at the top of the lantern. Any breezes don’t blow the candle out as it is protected behind the glass doors. I absolutely adore these as I like the old, weathered look and they seem to be quite unique as I haven’t seen anything like them. You get two in the pack which are different sizes so are suitable for most areas.

These are lovely and the big one is huge. They look great in my garden and I intend to put some solar lights inside I just need to find the right ones. I think they’ll look really pretty with solar lights.They’re well made with doors that open and lock easily. The 6 sides are glass and the top is open mesh work.They’re painted white with a distressed effect.They look good in the garden but could be used in many other situations, weddings, parties, conservatories.

Lovely little lantern and as described in the description but don't be fooled into thinking it's white. Defintely more on the cream side.
