wow i have never had one of these.. well i wanted this kind for the reason everything is on the machine so you don't have to have different blades you can loose.. used it today was easy to set easy to use easy to clean, perfect...the holder is the right size and no worries as far as cutting your finger off, as long as you use the holder.. blade is razor sharp..

Been using almost daily for over two months still going strong easy clean up with removable blade, love the stainless steel. Just air dry in and ready to use again the next day. Just be very careful the blade is very sharp to the fingers. Cuts prep time more than half.

I liked that they included protective gloves, because I tend to be a Klutz and the blade IS sharp. I like that it's stainless for easier cleanup. I like that the slice sizes are dial adjustable instead of having to change blades.I don't much care for the black pronged handler/holder, because it's awkward to use. I also think that the roller part that controls the slice size is way too difficult to put back after you take it out for cleaning. Maybe those who aren't as klutzy as I am won't have as much trouble. However ---I give this an OK rating because it does work and it hasn't broken or rusted.

We like the slicer-actually better than the previous one or two slivers we've had.Our fingers are mostly safe from injury just by paying attention and being careful, but the gloves are a welcome precaution.

I bought this to slice for my food dehydrator. I can adjust the thickness. It works great and I love it! Very happy with this purchase.

A little difficult to clean. Main blade does not detach. A lot of little grooves/nooks for food debri to get stuck in.

I gave this as a gift to my sister- in- law and she loves it!
