4 small drawstring muslin bags for adding herbs for making up Bouquet Garni to recipes. Just a couple of criticisms, the string for the drawstring was not joined and was fraying, it might be helpful for the makers to tie the ends in a knot, (to save me doing it!). The other thing is that the instructions imply you would use them straight away; I would suggest that they should advise buyers to have them rinsed out before use as they have a distinct muslin smell which would spoil a recipe I'm sure. I wouldn't put them straight into a dish. They do say to rinse after use. Those 2 reasons are why I've deducted 1 star. The delivery was 4 days and included a packet of Lemon Cucumber seeds, which was a very nice bonus, I look forward to growing them next year. 😀

Excellent product - bought to put spices in with my rice so I can get it to taste like authentic Indian - now you can have the taste without the 'bits' which my partner didn't like having to fish through and hook out !

I recall my mother using home made muslin pockets to create a whole garam masala and bay leaf bouquet garnis to make her special pilau. These provide the same level of service and I can say my pilau are almost as good as the ones my mother makes!!

Great for curries....helps me to fish out all the cloves, seeds and sticks before they hit the plate! Good quality and reusable.

These do what they're supposed to do, they hold a mixture of herbs that you do not want floating around when you dish up the meal. My only quibble is trying to wash them is a bit of a bugger!

This worked really well and have washed and reused some of the packets as they are made out of hessian but do think that twice used they need to be binned

Bought these Bouquet Garni Bags for making chutney. Perfect for making chutney but a little small if you were thinking of making marmalade when you would need much larger ones.

Nice little items. Work well and reusable after a wash.
