I gave it a 4 because you can't place the cap back on top of the pen when you are writing with the pen. Most pens you can. It does write nice though.

and, when you remove the top, to write,you cannot insert it at the base of the pen for easy storage and retrieval.. It does not fit..

Husband works for a helicopter company so these are great, they write well , and I like that they come with ink refills , only thing I'm not wild about is that the helicopter is just a topper and I know people will forget to put them back on or lose them . Wish they were one solid piece

These are hilarious for my AME husband. They are very big and not practical because of the lid but he thinks they are hilarious and absolutely worth it.

Cool pens. They are really nice, good quality pens and perfect as gifts for people who love planes. The helicopter blades can be turned out to resemble a helicopter or left inward for easier storage. The pens are a bit larger than regular pens, but they seem good. However, the removable top resembling a helicopter is quite large. Overall, good pens.
