I have taken creatine monohydrate before, and I always get bloating, cramps, ect ect for hours on end after taking it. It was always settling for discomfort for the benefits. I suffer from Crohn's Disease which made the side effects all that much worse. This creatine HCL has eliminated that for me. I had never heard of this type of creatine before but I can say for my condition this is nothing short of a miracle for me. This gives me ZERO stomach issues which is absolutely amazing! The taste is sour but if you mix it with some lemon Mio, it tastes like a Lemonhead candy. To me it has no odor and it doesn't clump at all. It dissolves completely in liquid and there is no grit. I think the amount you get is worth the money, but I would pay more because the elimination of the GI issues is priceless for me. I have bought 2 jars so far and will continue to use this creatine for my workouts.

It has a sour flavor but it’s lighter than most…so it is not unflavored. I see some mix it with coffee-it doesn’t taste good in that. In other cold drinks or in a smoothie, mixed with electrolytes, or a cold water it’s fine. I have even mixed it with Greek yogurt; it’s good there too. I recommend HCL - it is way easier to mix and on your stomach. It’s a small scoop and container, but it’s mighty.

Not impressed at all. Unfortunately my container came unsealed and was half empty already, and Amazon was great at fixing that issue. But the main reason I'm giving a single star is because the container was very very small and the value isn't there for the price. There's no way 75 servings are in there even with the tiny dosing scoop they included. I decided to look elsewhere for my HCL... this was a disappointment.
