At first I was very annoyed with it because there's just so much in it
I've had this for a full week now. At first I was very annoyed with it because there's just so much in it. After learning the buttons and getting it setup the way I like it, each day I am falling more and more in love with it. I have it in my 2017 Ram 1500 and looks beautiful. I was very concerned it would look too aftermarket but it actually looks like it came right out of the manufacturer. The only thing I dislike about it and have to do more reading to see if its something I can change, is every time I turn my truck on it automatically display Sirius XM. I have Sirius so its not too annoying but what if I didn't? every single time I would have to manually change it to the radio and select station? Personally, I want to turn my truck on, have it on whatever station I last had it on and display maps, not Sirius. It does do split screen so again, its really not all that bad. Im just an overly entitled millennial who thinks everything must be the exact way I want it to be or else its total crap. Highly recommended though!

Poor user interface
I've had this unit for over a year now, installed in my RV. I find it very hard to navigate and am often scratching my head over some of the functions. I also put a Pioneer AVH NEX in my truck shortly before installing the 694, so that's what I'm mostly comparing it to. The NEX has a very intuitive user interface, and is so much easier to run going down the road. Some examples. If I'm traveling and want to tell the radio to pull in all the strongest channels, it replaces all of my presets in the 694. On the NEX, it has 3 FM preset screens and only replaces the channels on the screen you choose. So I can have sets 1 and 2 for my "at home" presets and use 3 for traveling.Tuning channels on the radio manually is very difficult to make work while rolling down the road. Super simple on the NEX. And there does not seem to be a scan function on the radio. It does work well for Bluetooth calling, so that's good. But compared to the NEX, the interface on this confusing, hard to navigate and frustrating. We don't spend a lot of time driving the RV, so I'll probably live with it. But I sure don't recommend it.I also put a Pioneer AVH NEX in my truck shortly before installing the 694

Bluetoothless
The price is going down because the Bluetooth is an amazing failure. It is a little better than my last Kenwood but still frustrating to use. The place that installed it said Kenwoods have poor Bluetooth capability. I installed a Pioneer NEX in my other car at the same time and the Bluetooth is outstanding. Plus, the mail-in rebate from Kenwood took almost 10 months to get. The processing center said Kenwood takes a long time to turn these around
