Great product for tracking your ketones.

I bought a URS-1K bottle of urine test strips to check for ketones. I tested strips over the course of several days and never got a positive reaction, even when I knew I should be in ketosis.In frustration, I bought a bottle of test strips (ketomojo) from a different manufacturer, one that I had successfully used before. I collected a urine sample and dipped both strips at the same time and waited 15 seconds. The URS-1K test strip barely turned pink, while the ketomojo strip turned dark purple (which I expected).My conclusion is that the URS-1K test strips contain insufficient reagent. I do not recommend this product and, in my opinion, Amazon should stop selling it.EDIT: I checked bottle label and found that the lot number and expiration date were missing. My assumption is that I was sent a bottle of expired reagent dipsticks.

These test strips work perfectly. They will not change color if your body is not producing ketones. That is dependent on your diet. The first time I used one it was only pale pink because I was only producing a small amount of ketone but as my body produce more ketones, the test strip turned a darker color. The color code is not difficult to figure out.

They just don’t seem to work for me. Never change colors

Does exactly what I needed it to do. Amazing value for the money. You get a lot of them.

No lot number. No expiation date. No “Testing & Reading Time” as indicated there should be. No color appears when used even though I’ve been fasting for 54 hours and even my expired competitor brand still works and shows ketone measurements. Disappointing.
