Very impressed!
With all the low quality tools being sold these days - I am incredibly impressed with this. I'm going to go look for more Berry and bird products. This is super super sturdy and strong. Love the fact that it has a wood handle and the tines seem to be really strong.I've only used it a few times but you can tell when something is well made or not.

Quality item. Hard to believe it is available.

A great, high quality tool
A game changer for me. I’d never used a garden fork before and it is SO handy for uprooting things and loosening soil. I love the short handle. It’s very sturdy. A lovely tool.

Works
Love the quality and balance of this fork, only reason not to get 5 stars, it is slightly narrower than forks I am used toBut lighter weight and smaller working area is perfect for woman of smaller person

extra cost worth the ease of use
beautiful, so much easier to use than a fork with square times. Rocks don't get stuck between tines and mud doesn't stick to the stainless steel.

easily removed mondo grass
I had mondo grass popping up all over my gardens. Mondo grass has very deep roots and rhizomes and if you don't get it all out it will come back. It spreads aggressively. It's kind of pretty but I did not want it taking over my flower gardens. This tool made removing the entire clump, rhizomes and all, so much easier. the tines are strong and went into the earth easily. Using this tool I felt it was quite strong and sturdy and I was surprised how easily it unearthed the entire mondo grass clump. Well worth the price, saved time, energy and my back.

It's going to break and merchant won't honor warranty
After a few months, a prong broke. Thankfully Amazon makes the deal good because the merchant sure does not. The merchant took days to reply then wanted a photo so I sent it...nothing... So now, after writing back twice still have no reply. Amazon will refund if I return. I asked them to come get it so no more of my time is spent jumping thru the hoops of Berry and Birds worry free 10 year warranty. Shop elsewhere. Not worth the hassle or the money.

Smaller than pictured.
I would of rated high but the one pictured is not the one you get, they picture a much bigger fork then you get but the dimensions they list is correct, they should show you how small the fork really is, I’ll attach an image of the one that is the one I received. Notice the handle size in relation to the fork size and how different it is from the picture posted on the item from the seller.

Border Fork, not a Digging Fork
This should be titled Border Fork like it says on the attached tag. A Border is a lighter duty, smaller fork for tight spaces. Google the difference! The tines are barley over 5 inches wide and there is very little space to apply foot pressure. You can dig with it, but it might be a challenge for some, like myself. If you want a true Digging fork go to the next size up from this same brand.

“Pitchfork”
Solid workmanship. Loved how it helped me get right under all those invasive roots.

Bad buy
Do not buy, the forks bent while digging an the the welds snapped when trying to straighten them. Looks nice but only good for loose soil.
