The Astro Tools 78214 Nano Impact Socket Set is outstanding! The low-profile design makes it easy to work in tight spaces, and the range from 17mm to 30mm covers a lot of the bigger jobs. Like all Astro tools, the sockets are built tough—durable, precise, and they hold up great under heavy impact use. The compact size doesn’t sacrifice strength, and they’ve already saved me time on jobs where clearance is tight. Another excellent set from Astro—professional quality and highly recommended!

These work amazing, tolerance and fit are very tight. Recommend for any weekend DIY'er or if you want to start a 1/2" socket set.

Strong and low profile. A necessary tool for the box.

I find myself using this socket set all the time. They are very short, allowing you to get in tight places you normally couldn’t get into. I also purchased Astro’s stubby impact to get into really tight spots and it works great. The sockets themselves are very high quality. You also get a super nice anodized aluminum rail for them. Couldn’t be happier with this set. I’ll probably end up getting the 3/8 set too

Offers excellent clearance to get to tight fitting spaces. Sometimes all you need is a few millimeters to get a socket onto a bolt, and this set really helps. I'm an amateur mechanic, so my tools do not see hard use. I do use impact drivers, and none of my Astro tools have ever broken.

Great quality impact socket, gets in tighter spots where a regular shallow impact socket wouldn’t fit. Highly recommend if you are looking for a slim impact socket.

I own several Astro tools, and their quality and customer service has been great. Their Nano line of sockets is particularly innovative. I had previously purchased the 3/8" drive Nano metric set, and was so pleased with them that I ended up buying this 1/2" drive set, as well as the Torx and Hex Nano impact sets. The size of these sockets is amazingly small, yet I can pound them with my largest impact guns with zero issues. Using a Nano or stubby impact, I've been able to fit into spaces I would have never been able to get into before. They are so handy that they've replaced by "regular" short impact sockets on my tool cart as my go-to short impacts. The size markings on each socket are very clear, and the placement / orientation of the markings are also precise. I hate when the size markings don't line up square with the drive of the socket, since you can't see the size when they are lined up on the holder, but these are all perfectly aligned. The hex shoulder is also a nice feature, allowing you to use a wrench on them as well. I've used the sockets with a ratcheting wrench, which gives you a total height of less than an inch and a quarter. Great for tight fits like serpentine belt tensioners.

The Nano range is very compact and well finished. With the option to use either square ratchet drive, ratchet wrench or external wrench these are very versatile. Made of chrome molybdenum steel they’re suited to use with an impact wrench/ driver. Recommend.
