Awesome comfort.! I have tried all grados cushions, all of them failed to meet my comfort level. The comfort allows me to use them for several hours without fatigue..! Regarding the sound profile, I have a Luxsin x9 headphone amplifier dac with 10 band parameters eq, and the sound coming out of my old Grado SR225 is simply awesome.! With eq, the cushions is AWESOME. Without eq, my old Grado SR225 would definitely be back in the closest, wit or without the new cushions

These earpads move the headphones way too far from the ears. The bass response is pretty much gone and the treble and mids become both incredibly sharp and muddy at the same time.

Greatly improves the comfort level of Grado headphones.

To be fair, it says "Warmer sound'," right in the title. I use Grado 325s for critical studio listening. I was unprepared for the size of the mid-bass boost these create in the sound. Makes music sound unnaturally boomy, and the crisp definition I am so used to from the Grados is gone. My hypothesis is that the porous foam in factory Grado pads is part of the sonic tuning. Pros: very comfortable, and I liked the way they fit on the phones -- more secure than the simpler foam ones. Just can't use them in the studio.
