This is a nice, stable, persistent hold flavour of blue threadlocker that I've had applied to high vibration fasteners in RC planes and multicopters for more than a month now without any sign of the screws backing off or loosening, and it's as easy (or hard :P) to cleanly apply as the competing products I've used.A useful tool, if you need threadlocker you would be hard pressed to do better and could do a lot worse.

The innovative dropper working well so far, not clogged at all.

This is perfect for what I needed it for my son's tray on his wheelchair.The thumb screws keep coming loose and falling out.Not any more with this stuff.

Medium strength (blue) thread lock - it's a small bottle but works well, easy to apply and holds as expected.

This stuff does what you expect it to do. I use it on laptops and other electronic equipment that has come in for repair and I’m pleased with the results.The bottle has a nice twist action lid that opens the spout to allow you to accurately place a single drop of liquid. The adhesive isn’t so runny that it goes everywhere but tends to stay put, clinging to the thread.Recommended.

Used this for a 3d printer build - I wanted something I could use for now, and have some leftover for projects. I like the screw top, it made it really easy to dispense just a little bit.I found the locking worked well too, and since that is the number one reason you'd use this in the first place, I'm glad it actually works. I have plenty left over for other projects. Maybe next time I open a laptop for service, I'll use this on the screws like the factory does. :)

Just like most people, my go to for years for locking threads has been red or blue Loctite - the DIY mechanic standard as far as I know. I've never had a bad experience with Loctite, but the cost is a bit high for something I'm going to use a few times, then leave in a toolbox drawer until some time later, when it has dried out. The Bader comes in a nice bottle that should reduce the chance of that happening for a while. It also has a decent listed shelf life (24 months). So far, it has worked just fine. Definitely worth checking out if you want Loctite performance at a lower cost.

Summary: Having used threadlocker, in many formulations over the past 30 years, I was interested to try these three strength threadlocker from BÄDER Industrial Marking Solutions. Loctite is the industry standard, and their 242 blue medium is most common, and 271 red permanent is the strongest. Over the past decade, Loctite has introduced additional strengths, such as green and purple. Permatex is another common brand of sealants, and I previously Vine reviewed the high strength removable orange offering. So I will be marking some comparisons between the US and German company offerings.Discussion: Thread locker is also commonly referred to as thread sealant, sometimes thread lubricant (even through it eventually hardens), and even thread adhesive.
