These I wanted to love because they looked like the Dior dupe earrings but they’re honestly just way too too tiny for my liking

Ok, my earlobes are a perfectly normal adult size. My actual ears are on the smaller side. On my left ear, the earrings were a tight fit. It hurt bad. On my right ear- I couldn't even close it. Because of the D shape, they decided to curve the actual posts. Not a good idea, it was extremely difficult just to get them in. I took a picture with the post balanced on the side of my pinky finger to give you an idea of the short length. These would probably work well on an 8 year olds ears, but a lot of parents wouldn't let their little girl wear such large hoops, so I don't see the point. Also, the brief minute that I was able to bear keeping the left one on, when I looked in the mirror the d shape wasn't that impressive anyways. You'd have to be holding very still and someone would have to be looking at just the right angle to notice " oh wow, Dee's wearing D shaped hoops". Not worth the discomfort.

I was drawn to these because they look like the letter D, which is the initial of someone close to my heart, and were available in a silvery tone. They're approximately the size of a US nickel coin, so not too large, not too small. They have a nice weight for their size, and the clasping mechanism latches securely. These don't irritate my ears at all, although I don't have sensitivities to any metals that I know of.They don't particularly give off a luxury vibe, but they are lovely fashion earrings for a decent price.
