Excellent, compact and affordable projector.
I've had this projector for close to a year, using it on a daily basis for watching TV shows and movies, in tandem with a folding screen and wireless soundbar. Overall, I've been impressed with the picture quality and ease of use offered by the projector, as well as it's compact and unobtrusive format. The automatic image correction and focus are generally reliable and function very well for a projector at this price. If the projector is positioned at a significant angle, to the side of the screen/projection surface, there is some "softening" of the image in the upper corner farthest away from the lens. However, this isn't really noticeable in normal use, and positioning the projector more centrally avoids the issue altogether. Similarly, projecting from a significant angle often requires use of the manual correction to ensure the image is fully symmetrical. However, after a little bit of use, making these adjustments becomes second nature and takes only a few seconds. The sound quality of the inbuilt speakers is surprisingly good and loud, again given it's diminutive size. However, using a external speaker setup will significantly enhance the movie viewing experience. The Bluetooth connectivity is excellent, and it unfailingly links to my soundbar upon start-up, and there is no noticeable lag or synchronization problem between the image and sound. Similarly, WiFi connectivity is strong and stable (even though my router is on the other side of the house and on a different floor). Media plays without hiccups from USBs or when input from another device that's connected via HDMI. I don't really cast content from my phone, so can't comment on this aspect of the projector's performance. The inbuilt battery is okay - but watching anything of movie length requires the projector to be set in power saving mode, which significantly dims the image, even in a fairly dark room. At full brightness, you can expect to get through an average episode of a TV show (45-60 minutes) but no more. To get best use out of the projector, it needs to be plugged in to mains power, which obviously limits its portability somewhat. In all, I'm very pleased with my purchase and would definitely look to buy a newer model Nebula when I finally want or need an upgrade.

Solid portable projector for the price
This was a little bit of a stab in the dark as I was looking for a small portable projector for the bedrooms and the mars 3 air had just come out and had no real reviews yet. I was first tempted by the Samsung Freestyle 2, but a lot of reviewers noted that for its price (~£700) it wasn't that good a projector. IIRC it only goes up to 240 lumens. But it had good apps and connectivity, so it was hard to find something with a similar feature set but cheaper. The Mars 3 was generally recommended as an alternative, but that's a similar price point to the Freestyle for a bulkier, brighter protector that's better for outdoor use, which I don't care about that much. That's where the Mars 3 Air came in - at £450 it's much cheaper than the freestyle, almost twice as bright, and has excellent connectivity and app support, with even native Netflix, which the more expensive Mars did not have. Some things to watch out for - first time set up is a bit slow, confusing and clunky. Google Home setup via the app is pretty okay, but it took a *long* time to download and install firmware updates. Once it was up and running, it still behaved weirdly, e.g. I could not access the settings menu, or sign in to YouTube, or download new apps at all at first. The trick seems to have been to reboot it several more times. Once fully set up it all works as expected. The auto keystone features and auto focus in my experience aren't great - they're a good starting point, but at least in my space, I usually do need to go in and manually adjust them. If this is the case for you, I would recommend turning off auto keystone and auto focus on startup and after movement, so you don't have to recalibrate every time you nudge it or turn it off. Overall though I think it's a really good deal for the price - responsive UI, very solid brightness and colours, great sound. Connectivity and apps all work fantastically, and having Netflix natively on the device is great! You can also Chromecast easily from a laptop or phone. Expect a bit of faff during first time setup, but after that it's a really solid device!

Great Projector 📽️
This was my second projector I have ever bought, the first being a cheap £60 unknown brand one which was terrible a few years ago. This is 100x better overall, with the key stone correction and image quality. It is only 1080p HD quality, but what great picture overall, and projecting at about 100 inch screen with potential of reaching 150”. Not had a larger wall to try any bigger but I personally think that was more than suitable. I watched a 4K video which downscaled to 1080p, but could barely tell the difference. Fantastic that it has google tv built in, which I never used before, so functional and easy to use. At 400 lumens the brightness is great, the black colours are dark and the bright colours have great contrast. So far a great portable projector that can be transported outside or in. I have watched various things since using, such as; tour de france biking, films, tv shows, and most of the tv apps, as well as trying outside in the evening. They all work great. I should say that I was debating on getting the Nebula Capsule 3 instead of this, but the more research I did the more it led me to this product simply for its increased lumens, projector’s size, and ability of increasing the screen size without distorting much of the image. I am not saying I wouldn’t choose the Nebula Capsule 3, but this projector had more going for me. Unless anything happens I will update my review, but this has been my best purchase this year. I am no expert of projectors but I think this is a great entry product, and for enjoying a home cinema like setup.

Nebula projectors are good
I love projectors and after so many research when i bought it .. it delivered on time .. appearance and holding in hand was good .. battery wise it was good and very easy for setting it up ..image quality and sound was great.. only problem i faced like when a little movement happens it kept going on adjustment and for this u must need a tripod and a steady place where it doesnt move .. capsule 3 the way it was advertised like holding in hand and watch but with this if a little movement happens it straight go to adjustment and you lose the excitement of warching something u are into it.. another problem i faced and for that reason i returned my item at the moment because in my nebula.. disney plus.. bbc player .. itv player was not working and kept giving problem saying region problem .. i am in UK and in my region these apps are working but mine projector was not working and contacted Nebula too so due to that reason i had to return my product but if someone projector is supporting all these apps .. you will love using this projector.. but u will need a tripod or a place where it does not move.. i will recommend to try and buy

Surprisingly good!
I'd like to buy a new projector for my daughter to replace her current crappy one with budget around £500-600. I've done quite a lot of research and read through loads of product reviews and videos. I finally chose Nebula Anker Mars 3 Air 1080p. It is surprisingly good! The design is modern and compact enough not to take up too much space. The set up is quite easy and straight forward. No fuzz at all! I've connected it to Apple TV 4K and it's just very simple. The sound from the device itself is pretty good already. I connected an Apple mini HomePod as well and it worked smoothly. I have bought a tripod separately. All in all, I'm just very happy with the product. I'm so happy that I have bought another one for our home! Highly recommend the product for anyone who is looking for a not too expensive but with top projection quality device!

Fantastic portable projector with Netflix built in
I'm a bit of a projector nerd, having owned several different makes and models over the years. I've owned all the Nebula Capsule models but, apart from the Capsule 3, I've never found them to be bright enough and, of course, none except the 3 had fhd. I purchased the Mars 3 (do not confuse this with the Mars 3 Air that this review is covering) and loved it because of its brightness, full HD and the sound. But it is a hulking brute of a projector and still had no native support for Netflix. Soooo.. what about the Mars 3 Air? Well, I love this too. Its small, light and totally portable. At 400 lumens it is bright enough for me to get a 120ins picture on my wall in darkness or very low lighting conditions and the image look incredible In full HD. The sound coming from dual 8w speakers really surprised me. It was loud and had plenty of deepness to it which I didn't expect without a subwoofer. As usual, the battery claims of 2.5hrs runtime are perhaps a little optimistic and rely upon the battery being set to eco mode which reduces the brightness somewhat and I'd have preferred USB-C charging so a power bank could be added but, all in all, this is a great addition to the Anker projector factory and my favourite one yet.

Fantastic
I got the Mars 3 air as the capsule 3 just didn't cut it for me. And I'm blown away be the performance of this little unit. Im using it in my Campervan, so even with the blinds closed there's still a far amount of light. The Mars 3 air handles this and more. I can actually turn the brightness down to 40% and still get a perfect image. The sound is amazing too, with the volume around 30 it blows you away. A real cinema experience. On the lower settings the battery last more than long enough to watch a good length film. I also have the option of plugging into the vans inverter. At the lower settings It draws under 5 amps and on full it draws around 7 amps. This includes the 1.2 amps the inverter uses. The customer services from Nebular has been outstanding. I bought this a few days before prime day, where it was discounted by £30. One quick phone call to Nebular about their 30 day price match guarantee, and they refunded the difference. Returning the capsule 3 was also an easy process. A great company and a fantastic little projector.

wait for sale and dont buy it if you need to connect wirelessly on pc
Pros: is truly light and portable and works on most flat surfaces without the need for a projector screen. Sound is decent but its better connected to a sound bar. Fan isn't very loud. auto keystone is great. Cons: This doesn't work as a wireless display on windows. You have to connect via HDMI or chromecast via a third party app no Miracast. The GoogleTV OS is slow and theres a lag between button presses and responses Google TV has a lot of ads and very cluttered UI the Sleep Mode Timer is buried in the settings took ages to find it and its annoying to get to every time. I've used this daily for nearly a year and its a good projector but there's better picture quality and features for cheaper.
