This electric in floor heater is the best way to keep hard surface floors cozy and warmth closer to your living space. The mesh mat has a sticky surface that will adhere to smooth and dry subflooring and the heating element cable is uniformly spaced for proper heat distribution. If you have an oddly shaped area, you may cut the mat and change the direction or orientation of the element as long as you do not cut the wire. The kit comes with everything needed to get heat into the area you want to heat; all you have to do is embed it into the floor and connect it to power. During installation you are kept aware of the wire continuity by the included wire break alarm which alerts you of a damaged heating element. There is also an included temperature sensor that will sense the temperature of the floor and tell the thermostat to turn on or off. Lastly, the thermostat is wifi capable and able to be turned on and adjusted remotely or with an in home assistant such as Alexa or Google home. The thermostat can be programmed manually with the control panel buttons, but it's much easier to program schedules by using the app over a wifi connection.I installed this heating mat under my bathroom tile and it is amazing. The warmth on my feet when stepping on the bare tile is the best feeling in the morning. It stays consistently warm across the floor and also keeps the bathroom area a bit warmer; the heat it generates seems to stay closer to the floor and closer to your living area. This is the perfect way to add supplemental heat and luxury to your space.

There are no instructions on how to connect the wires to the thermostat. Which wires go where and what does the color code represents. The electric mat has three wires (one black, one red and one yellow). The thermostat has only two connectors for wires in from the mat. What happens with the third wire? The thermostat screen is always on. I don't know if is a defect or it doesn't have a sleep function. The clock doesn't reflect the current time and keep skipping hours. This makes the scheduling totally inaccurate. I did not try the other functions because it will be a waste of time. It will be returned because it is a cheap piece of equipment. Do not buy.

We are downsizing to a tiny home and installed this in our bathroom. It was really easy to install and works well. Really has come in handy with the cold winter this year. Seems to be durable, we’ve had it installed for a couple of months and everything is working as it should.

This heated underfloor is great to have. I wanted tile floors but I hate my feet being cold. I got this heated floor mat and it was easy to install and operate. It heats up well and you can change the temperature with the thermostat.

Heats up pretty well, need to keep heating mat under the tiles. I put it in the bathroom as I was adding a bathroom in my master bedroom. Warms up well. Not an easy dyi, but not impossible. Definitely take some time reading the instructions.
