As exhaustive a compilation as publication date would allow! Now that their popularity is growing as quickly as the prevalence of droughts, they are finding their rightful place in the landscapes. These myriad rainbows of grasses are amazing home gardeners with their unabashed beauty and minuscule appetites for water.

The Pictures and descriptions helped me to decide which grass I wanted to plant, which is zone approved for my area and what grasses according to height I wanted to landscape with. It also told me how to plant, what type of soil and how much moisture and sun they would need. Also where I could purchase the grasses I wanted. Great Book!

excellent and comprehensive!

Disappointing. Pictures are mostly closeups, not what it'll look like in your landscape. You have to dig through the description to find the size they'll grow to as it's not included in the beginning summary. Most of the grasses seem to be for warm climates, very few included for cooler climates. Not helpful to me at all in selecting grasses for my yard. Too dry and scientific-like.
