Marius Fabre Nature Multi-purpose Olive Oil Liquid Black Soap 33.81 Ounces Refill

The scent of this soap is not the most appealing. However, this is a very versatile soap, which can be mixed with water or other liquid to make it an eco-friendly and powerful cleaning solution. 80 years ago, my grandparents were only using Savon de Marseille as a stain remover for clothes (this is still my go-to solution) and black soap as an all-purpose cleaner. I recommend it, and there are plenty of tutorials about how to use it on the Internet.

Olive oil soap are good natural soap. I had been looking for black soap for a while, I'm glad I found some.

I have bought this soap many times. It's a staple in my house. It reminds me of soap that was in my pre-school circa 1986. I literally remember the day it switched from this to pink soap and so.etimes Dial Soap. I remember asking my mom why and she said it was less expensive. I really missed that soap. When I got this soap and smelled it I was instantly transported back to pre-school and was SO excited that I had found it again. $30 seems expensive but you're supposed to dilute it 4:1 or 6:1 ratio (warm water first) which actually makes this competitively priced and quite a good deal for an heirloom, French, all natural product. I can use it on my dishes, floors, hands, laundry everything. It's more adaptable than Dr. Broners. I've bought this maybe ten times over the years, always refilling when we run out. It smells like olive oil soap. If you're used to perfume, it simply is not perfumed. It has a strong, earthy, olive oil scent that my family loves. It smells heirloom to me - the stuff my grandmother and great grandmother used. I would give it five stars EXCEPT I just bought a new bottle and it smells off - honestly it made me gag. I didn't know if there is a quality control issue? I looked for an expiration date on the bottle but I didn't see one. This is part of what makes natural items, natural! They are subject to change and that is usually desirable, but I would like some way of knowing if there is something wrong with this batch and whether or not it is safe to use despite the smell (I am happy to add essential oils to cover the smell as long as it's safe to use. All in all, I generally live this product and I strongly recommend it. If for some reason it smells rotten, return it and try again. It's worth it to try to get the good stuff.

VERY smelly, however, will buy it again. It works quite well for my hands, nails and feet. Delivery was quick, efficient and very well packed. Thanks.

I have been using Black Soap for years when I was living in France. This is an environmental and health friendly product. I like the smell of it and it cleans my floors (tile, limate). I recommend it to anyone !

Wow, this is horrible—-when you clean with it you have to clean again with something else to cover up the awful smell. And WAY TOO EXpENSIVe$$$, wish I could get my money back.

Marius Fabre is THE brand if you're looking for authentic savon de Marseille. I have been slowly transitioning to "homemade" cleaning products for about 1 year and this liquid black soap is great. In a glass spray bottle, I mix about 2 tbs of black soap with 1 litre of hot water (not boiling - to help dissolve/mix) and a few drop of essential oil. It's a great cleaner for any surface. Back in June 2019, I bought this bottle for $17 on Amazon...

It is unscented, concentrated, cleans very well with no harmful chemicals. I finally found the universal household cleaner! Thank you!

Trovo questo sapone nero ottimo, lo uso un po’ ovunque, ma sopratutto per pulire il pavimento in cotto é fantastico. Lo consiglio.

J'ai 2 sphynx et qui dit sphynx, dit vêtements tachés. Je devais laisser tremper, rincer, tremper à nouveau puis laver à la laveuse. Quand je dis trempé j'y ajoutais des produits à chaque fois afin d'atteindre le maximum de blanchiment. Problèmes réglés de ce côté ! De plus, celui ci peut être utilisé pour laver mes 2 nunus. Je ne l'ai pas encore essayé mais je suis persuadé que j'aurai un meilleur résultat qui ne réussissait jamais à ce que ma nunu rose soit d'un beau rose comme ça peau devrait être car leur sébum est gras et tache beaucoup. Très heureuse de cette achat qui a date à fait un miracle. CHER MAIS VAUT SON PRIX !!

I love this soap and it works great with dusty, oily, sticky grease around in the kitchen! Really good, nothing I tried before match it!!! Oh... and you can use it for an array of other tasks too :)
