My daughter's favourite toy!
I don't understand why this has had so many negative reviews. We got this for my daughter's 2nd birthday and she absolutely loves it. It is her favourite toy and she can't get enough of it. If there are any problems, it's the tantrums she throws when she can't get to go in it because we've put it away. Puppy Lane cottage is amazing for a small child, it's very pretty and on the large size, although it does half in size if you push one half into the other to double the storage space. Perfect for a little girl. She just loves opening and shutting the doors and going inside with her toys. She loves peeking out the windows. I think it's adorable and very good quality and would recommend it to others with little girls. The only thing I would say is that, if it is a birthday gift, spend the time erecting it before the big day as there is quite a bit of work involved (pole A to pole B etc) and it took me about an hour so I would say not to leave it until the day if you have an inpatient, excitable child! I love this product. My daughter thinks it's great too.

Great
A great wendy house with the option to have it open into two halves. This is great if you, as an adult, ever had to spend time in an actual wendy house with child/children- more air available! The dog is a nice touch as are the curtains, butterfly, letterbox etc... I would buy this again and am happy with the quality. The plastic poles won't last forever but I'm sure they could be replaced if need be. I love it.

Meh
My daughters love this house, but it's very flimsy and tore a little bit around the frame on the first day we put it up. Can't see it lasting long but it is lovely to look at and it's a great idea that it can open up. Like I said, my daughters 3 and 5 love it, although my 5 year old only just fits in it standing up though !

Never Arrived
I'm sure my daughter would have loved this for her birthday, if we had ever got it! Honestly I ordered this knowing it would take about two weeks to arrive; three weeks later I still had no word from the supplier about my order. I chased up city link and found that the supplier had given an incorrect address for me, so the parcel could not be delivered Then they had it returned to them over a week ago and never told me. Good thing my daughter is too young to understand this now, but it could have ruined the day!I have since had a full refund, and my recommendation is, if you order from this company, do so well in advance so you can chase them up and hopefully get a replacement in time.Disgraceful!

Ruined by sub quality components
The fabric cover is first rate and full of lovely detail. The kennel and dog are excellent and include lead, brush, bowl and bone. The whole thing looks great when you first set it up (worthy of 5 stars), but unfortunately it all goes wrong when a child is introduced into the equation as the plastic poles are totally inadequate flimsy rubbish. When I was little I had a tardis tent of similar construction with sturdy poles that lasted years of play. Within two hours of play this house had two completely snapped poles, others on the brink of snapping, and a split connecting piece. We had to put that half of the house away on boxing day. The other half lasted till January 7 when our two year old daughter played with it for about 10 minutes - by herself - and another two poles split. The plastic is little more than the thickness you find in drinking straws and is totally unfit for purpose. The item was not subjected to particularly rough play, but the narrowness of the base means it is constantly falling over, and the poles cannot take this strain. I am now resigned to having to build my own wooden frame for it!

I was pleased with this it was nice and easy to put ...
I was pleased with this it was nice and easy to put together and my Niece loved it. The only thing was the two halves don't stay together all that well when one boisterous 3 yr old is playing inside. Saying that the plastic frame is good and bendy and it appears well made. I hope she will have many years of fun with her house and the two halves stack inside each other to get them out of the way when not being used. All in all very pleased.

My daughter has moved in permanently
My 3 year old daughter LOVES this house. As it states, it comes in two parts which is brilliant. I have though tied the two sides together, because she prefers it this way, and it is now a very sturdy house. They exterior and interior of the house itself is gorgeous also. If you have a small person who loves hiding and having their own wee space then I would recommend you snap one of these up quickly as I believe they are being discontinued.

play house for granchild and dog
a little more expensive than others of a similar nature but this little house has more going for it. With its own dog and kennel it has kept my 4 and 3 year old grandchildren happy over the past few weeks. posting letters and newspapers through the little letterbox. its also easy to store as one half fits into the other then chairs, cooker etc can be stored within that. they actually enjoy tidying this up too.
