Great camera. I was easy to install and the the video quality is clear and sharp.Since it’s solar powered, the camera can be installed in any location. It responds to commands without any lag and has a full range of motion. It sends notifications of movement and I can check on my phone to see what is happening. Night vision is also good and so I can clearly see what is going on both day and night. I had a few questions so I contacted customer service and they were quick to respond and solved all my issues. I was so impressed by the product that I purchased a total of 5 cameras and now I have total surveillance of my property.. Great product and excellent customer service service. Highly recommend this camera.

This camera meets all of my needs. It does not require routing cables, it self charges, even if we have cloudy days and the videos are excellent quality. Installation took 10 minutes. I even recommend their customer service. They were quick to respond to my issue and resolved it by replacing the entire device - without hesitation, once the problem was identified.The company has great prices and offers many options and products to meet any security needs a homeowner needs.

This is a terrific outdoor security camera that has a remote-controlled movable camera and automatic tracking. It has a fixed solar panel to charge it, so it does not have to be brought in to charge or plugged in. There is a microSD slot for memory (the card is not included), or a subscription to a cloud service may be purchased. It is 2K, but very clear. There is a built-in light for security and alarm. Installation is simple and once the app is downloaded to your phone, setup is a breeze. Even night vision is very clear. Though there are many security cameras available, for the price, this is an outstanding buy.

Great Outdoor Camera — Easy to Install!I’m very pleased with my aosu outdoor camera! One of the things I liked most was how easy it was to install and get set up. The instructions were straightforward, and I had it up and running without any hassle.The camera provides a clear picture, and I really like having the added peace of mind of being able to monitor the area around my home. The quality has been great so far, especially for the price.I must say that I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this camera to others looking for an outdoor security camera that is easy to install and use. Even installing the micro sd card was a breeze!

I really like these, especially for a PTZ camera with wifi and solar. Crystal clear 4k images.There are 3 things I wish they would fix.1. sell the base unit separately. I already bought cameras then they came out with a bundle.2. Make it accessible through a web browser on a pc so I don't have to load android apps on pc.3. Maybe there is an option to fix the field so it's not chasing objects. I have one pointed at my front door and don't want it to move.I like that you can share them. My dad has the same brand and he is on the other side of the country.I also am using some external solar panels for where the mount is north facing and that works well.I have region/country blocking on my firewall and I'm not seeing them try to phone home to China which was also a concern.

It's been a while since we purchased our cameras. We needed something that could keep a watchful eye on our yard and also be able to Pan and tilt around so we could check on the vehicles and side yard. After deciding on the AOSU PT security cameras they arrived quickly and excellently packed.Setup was as straight forward as any typical wireless device with no surprises. Both devices do have a fairly clear path to view the WiFi router, so you should keep that in mind while setting up, but there is a utility in the setup routine that helps to ensure there is adequate signal to the network. The app is easy to install and also straight forward to use. It allows you to utilize one app to manage multiple devices, so that made it easy when I needed to report an issue with one of the cameras. It's spot light function had stopped working. I did some troubleshooting on my own, installed updated firmware and coincidentally the light began to function again but within a few days the light stopped again.I contacted AOSU Customer Service was assisted by Julie. She was very helpful and responsive, with me being the only bottle neck. Once I checked the things she needed checked and provided information requested a replacement camera was sent. It just arrived this afternoon right as she had indicated. I anticipate no issues getting it installed and resuming the function as our backyard night watchman!Both cameras were installed using custom mounts to allow for as much visibility as possible. If it is dark and cloudy for days on end the cameras can begin to get low on battery but are usually able to remain fully charged, even with a giant bird turd smack in the middle of the solar panel as shown in the attached picture (thank you Tweetybird).I would recommend to anyone with similar needs.

Bought a single camera to see about creating a network of them but wanted to ascertain function and quality first. Installed on my front covered porch with a dedicated electrical connection instead of using the solar charging, using a new 32gig memory card instead of cloud storage, and it's on the free basic plan requiring no subscription.Overall the camera seems pretty good, it captures movement of people approaching my front door and placement of them allows me to see the vehicle they drove up in. It follows the person directly as they near the front steps and when departing then stays on wide view as they head down the driveway. The movement detect function is fairly high too as it will sense my neighbor mowing his lawn across all the way from across my lawn and driveway.BUT....but...it doesn't always capture everything during the day and nothing at night unless you're right next to the camera. For example today it recorded two different Amazon deliveries but failed at seeing my neighbor get the packages for me while I'm out of town. This is apparently normal operation for the camera because it happens constantly. I can get it to see me *sometimes* if I stand right by the cam and/or wave my arms.I believe the problem is low-light sensitivity as my neighbor arrived at dusk, and I've tested it myself by exiting my front door far which is about 15 feet from the camera after sundown and gotten zero reaction from it. But what good is a night vision capable security camera when it doesn't see things after dark? It's fine to see a delivery person in bright sunlight, it's the potentiality of criminals checking out my place after dark which is more important. A network of cams around my property which are essentially useless at night simply isn't tenable. Perhaps the IR detection simply isn't up to the task and I can find nothing in the settings or menus to increase sensitivity.Also the recording of events can be odd, it will show me events (such as the delivery people) but if I try to view the video later it's not there anymore, then trying again an hour later it reappears. It has also sometimes shown vids I've deleted from the card, and then they're not on the card a day later.So, while I generally like the camera and its functions if I can't trust it to work at night I won't keep it. It's too bad because the image quality is very good and it's easy to use manually to look around.

I've had it for more than a year now and am very pleased with it. Image quality is good and it mostly stayed charged via self charging during the summer, even though it's mounted in a shaded area. I get alerts and good equality video even while I was halfway across the country. Keep the solar panel clean and you should get reliable, maintenance-free service. I would recommend.

Love the camera, easy to install. Notifications are sent to my phone. Being based in Australia we get plenty of sunlight so the solar panel has no issues.

I bought this along with the along with the Eufy S340 and I think the AOSU Solar Camera is far better and much better value for money.

I purchase this camera in December 2025 but didn’t install it until March 2026. I love that it’s a solar panel camera so you never have to worry about charging it. The picture quality is amazing. It was very easy to install.Last week, September 1, 2026. The camera stopped working. It wouldn’t hold a charge so I reached out to product support and they were amazing to deal with. I followed all their instructions to try to fix the camera and it worked again for about an hour and then went dead. Customer service did not disappoint 🙂. They quickly escalated my problem to their team and within four days a new camera arrived at my door.I have no hesitation in recommending this camera, and if I was to buy another one, I would stick with the same brand.
