These black stained glasses are the perfect touch to my kitchen decor, and dinner table. They are definitely sturdy. I’ve had these glasses for several months and have no complaints. I would purchase again, but don’t think I would need to.

4 stars because the glasses themselves are great. Unfortunately they and the taller version cam with some broken. They don’t make the trip well.

These are much thicker than the ones I already have. I’ve been through at least three sets over the years, because inevitably they break. I couldn’t find more of these in the mocha color that I love, so I decided to try the smoke color. These are noticeably thicker, slightly heavier, and seem like they will hold up much better than the ones before. I’m excited to see they’ve been improved. Being hand-made in Mexico, these should definitely last! Thank you Libbey for finally improving the quality. Please bring back mocha color too! Only downside is that every single cup has a sticker that is difficult to get off.

Pro: Nice color, cool looking. Easy to drink from, easy to wash. Appears sturdy Con: slippery. Everytime I try to take it out of the dishwasher, or load it into it, I have to hold on tight or with 2 hands because the darn slippery snake cup is trying to get away.

These are nice glasses and are as re-presented. I ordered these and when received, one was broken. Reported to Amazon and received a refund and scheduled a UPS pickup. I reordered these and noticed they were now boxed with double thickness dividers and extra layers of cardboard on top and bottom. Very nice. The price went up between orders and Amazon issued a credit, no hassle. Manufacturer's and Amazon's actions turned a low review into a 5 star.

Handsome glasses. A great size and shape. They match (almost perfectly) a set from the 60s I have from my parents.

Love these glasses! I already had a set and lost a few to breakage from a destructive kitty. They are strong and beautiful, but still glass. I was thrilled to be able to order more.

I love using these glasses! They have a great size of 13 oz, and they look very nice on my table. However, I have encountered a significant frustration with them: they easily break when stacked inside the sink, especially if there's some water in them. When the glasses cling together like that, it becomes very difficult to separate them without risking damage to the bottom one. This seems more like a design flaw than an issue of mishandling, as I own a full set of similar cups in a larger size that have never broken under similar conditions. Initially, I bought a set of six but found myself repeatedly purchasing replacements. Unfortunately, I am no longer willing to buy replacements and am actively exploring other brands that may offer greater durability. In summary, while these glasses are aesthetically pleasing and functional when handled carefully, their fragility when stacked in wet conditions is disappointing and has led me to seek alternatives.
