Good pad, bad glove.
Pretty good padding. The hook seems a bit shorter than Iโd like but good enough. The glove is not as thick as described. I used it and still burnt my hand. The steam went right through it. Otherwise, decent purchase. Helped steam out a very wrinkled blazer quite easily

It is a great item, but I wish that the board was a bit stiffer.

Missing Glove Two Times-Don't Buy
Do not buy this. I have has it sent twice and the glove has never been included. I specifically called this out in the first return and still can't get it right. The glove was the main thing I wanted. Ridiculous!
