The product works well - a surprise to me
My mother in law is 89. Yes, she’s still using an iPhone - we face time with her. After many months of her not hearing us, and saying ‘what’ I started looking into new ‘landlines’ for seniors. This, of course, takes FaceTime out of the equation, but then saw this! Decided to try it. It works great! She loves it! It makes her phone easy to find in her purse, she likes standing the phone up on her side table by her chair, I’ve attached the product using silicon rubber to make sure it doesn’t come off. I’d buy again, which is the best product review I could give it.

Sound really become louder
Sound got louder for sure as advertised, much improved. I put an iphone Xs Max into it and the fit was not very tight, holding it up often easily came lose so i tends to hold it up with extreme care fearing the plastic case might drop, i even try taping it but the plastic was difficult to tape. Also when placing it horizontally there is no plastic protection since the case was designed for the short side of the phone facing downward. But if you put it horizontally the sound quality improved since the speaker hole is higher and closer to the ears when one is standing and listen in.

Bought 3
Tennessee just passed a “no hands” rule for phones in cars. So I bought 3, one for each car, and it’s easy enough to jam the phone into this (I have an iPhone 6 in a bumper case and it just makes it, any larger and it wouldn’t) and it “amplifies” the speaker tremendously. Now a phone on the dash or console is plenty loud enough to hear and talk, and no fooling around with Bluetooth on/off, pairing, etc. It’s really just a megaphone, like on an old Victoria, but it works! The sound quality is tinny and you probably wouldn’t use it otherwise, but it’s bulletproof: no batteries to change, ever, and it’s small enough to keep in the ashtray or wherever.

COMPACT AND EASY TO USE
Accurate photo description of product, but it won’t hold the phone well if it has a case on. I have a super slim case, and had to remove it to fit the phone into for video. Does the job, but as it is made of silicone like material, be sure to place it on a very level surface to ensure stability during video operation (pushing start and end buttons on phone screen, etc).

Louder than the bowl amplifiers
The upside is the sound is much louder than the volume you get using the bowl amplifers, as well as clearer (whereas the bowl has a bit of a distortion sound as the sound reverberates in the container). The downside is if you have any kind of thick case (such as mine which is a battery case) you'll have to take the phone out of the case to slide it into this amplifier. It's a bit of an ordeal to get my phone out of the case, so when I really want something quick and easy to drop into without removing from the case, the bowl wins. If I have an extra minute to pry my phone out of the case first, the sound quality of the Bone Collection amplifier is worth the effort.I primarily needed an amplifier when I'm on a call and have to get in the shower but want to keep talking - I found I could hardly hear my caller over the shower noise, and didn't want to get a blue tooth shower speaker, which I tried in the past. I love the simple physical amplification of a non electric device like this or the bowl.

Phone doesn’t stay in stand
After a few minutes in the horizontal position, the phone tends to pop out of the stand. While in the upright position, the phone is so upright (like when I was trying to cook and watch on my phone)… it is so perfectly upright it’s difficult to see.

Unexpectedly Great
First, this is a passive device, it is not powered. It merely amplifies the sound coming out of the speakers at the bottom of an iPhone. People don't seem to understand thatWith that said, the little thing arrived today and we promptly tried it out. It really worked. The sound out of the speakers is directed out of the 'horn' which could be faced in the direction of the screen or the screen flipped to point away from you. It was really loued and will surely be enough to reach the entire classroom (which is my wife's desire). The sound it not amazing by any stretch, but if you're merely trying to amplify the sound to a largish room, this will simply work and will not require any type of power.Of course there are limits. If you have too big a room you'll need a powered/bluetooth type system. But those usually start around $30. Then you may have to remember to charge them or will need a power source. So if you need a somewhat temporary sound amplification system, try this out. For $15 it's well worth it.

Not very edfective
Helps project sound some but it doesn’t fit phone unless you take the case off your phone each time you put it in. My elderly mother can’t easily switch it all around.

It works!
Great little product, well made, stylish and works. Increased the volume on my Daughters phone considerably and the double stand aspect makes it very versatile. All in all well worth it.
