BIA White Divided TV Tray

TV tray arrived in perfect condition, was packed well in bubble wrap and paper padding. This tray reminds me of Friday night TV dinners watching the Wonderful World of Disney as a kid. It was the only time we were allowed to eat in the living room watching TV - our reward for studying hard in school and getting our chores done that week. Will have to purchase one for each of my siblings.

Wife really loved it for Christmas! Solid tray is why it's on a bit the heavy side. Was slightly disappointed it wasn't as wide and deep as the dimensions stated by seller BUT it was well worth it overall!

I've seen other reviews about this tray where people have suggested ordering more than one because there's a good chance it will break. I only ordered one because I knew I could return it if it did break, and the tray that came was in perfect condition! It did come in a large box with other items that I bought because I have no self-control, so they may have protected it during shipping and prevented it from breaking.The tray is fairly heavy, probably half a pound, which is to be expected with ceramic materials, but I think that will add to its sturdiness. The sticker is hard to peel off, but nothing a little Goo Gone can't fix. The bottom of the tray had a matte finish, which will prevent it from sliding around on a smooth surface. It is a good hearty size, and you can definitely fit a large sandwich in the main compartment (if you cut it in half). I look forward to this tray lasting me years and will probably grab 3-4 more eventually!EDIT: I ordered another tray because I love them so much, and this tray came poorly wrapped in a smashed-up box with a bunch of metal shelves and no other protection, AND STILL DIDN'T BREAK! Thanks to Amazon/UPS for testing out the resiliency of this product and my other purchases ;)

Ordered this for a gift and didn’t take off plastic. Took off the plastic for the birthday and found out it was cracked on the corner 😢😢. Also found out that my time to send it back was gone😢😢.

Actually, I use this BIA White Divided TV Tray as a food prep-dish for cooking in the kitchen. Cut-up (dice-n-slice) your food items (veggies/etc) and place them in the tray. Then add the items to the cooking process as needed to complete the dish/meal. BIA White Divided TV Tray is ceramic (glazed porcelain = clean, natural and toxic free): Just Say NO to plastic and aluminum. The BIA White Divided TV Tray's compartments remind us to include/incorporate many food elements (veggies/etc) in our cooking creations. The more food elements (micro nutrition): The Healthier we become, and staying healthy is a good reason for: eating healthy, thinking healthy, and being healthy. ~ RHF

So packaging reviews go elsewhere, but I'll mention here that it took me several tries to get my 2 unbroken plates. This seems to be a common problem.For the plates themselves:Pros:Very sturdyDividers are high, the plate is deepHolds my food for eating, duh!Cons:Plates are very heavyThey heat oddly in the microwave - be careful!Overall they are decent but I feel they are overpriced and are actually a hassle due to how heavy they are.

well made, expected weight for a ceramic plate and no more delicate. Fun to use, I used cake mix to bake a tiny cake in the top center section, then threw a few peas into it to make it more authentic.
