This garlic press will work well only if you have fresh juicy garlic, which is not always easy to find. If the garlic is dried out, it will be too difficult to put through the press, requiring a lot of arm strength. If the garlic skin is loose, the garlic having shrunk inside the skin and dried out, you will not be happy with this press. Put in only one garlic clove at a time for best results. It is a pleasure, however, if you have juicy fresh garlic, to watch the perfect little cubes dropping out of the bottom of the press as you turn the top. Be sure to immediately plunge the press into water after using it, because if the garlic residue dries inside the press, it will be very difficult to remove. Even when soaked in water, you may need to use a brush to remove all the residue. In addition, before using the press, notice exactly how it is put together, because after you wash it, it may be a bit difficult to figure out how to put it back together. Especially notice how the bottom piece (that cuts the cubes before they drop out) must be turned to a locked position.

I don’t understand the negative reviews! This minced 4 cloves in just a few turns! It is hard to turn, but will loosen up with time I’m sure. Uses the entire clove unlike a garlic press which leaves behind some of the flesh. Great product!

Doess not work as easy as others I have had.

I have bought several presses and this by far the best. Had no trouble running Walmart garlic through it and cleaning is easy. Not sure about the negative reviews as this performs better than expected.

Waste of money. Purchased two of these, both had blades hang up and break off. They did not work as presented on iPadThrew them in the trash

seems like a great product! used it a few times this week and did a great job! easy to use and clean. saves your hands from garlic smell!

Not happy with this garlic gadgets

Does not cut easily. I would rather use a knife.

This broke almost immediately. It was hard to twist, and the plastic plate cracked & broke apart the one and only time I used it.

Bought one from an add on FB. So disappointing! Just smashed the garlic cloves and very little cubes.
