I was really nervous trying this in 2026 for amiibos because the reviews were from years ago but it still works! Shipping was fast packaging was great! My app of choice for loading the tags was tagmiibo.

Product appearance was consistent in size. Adhesion to surface is great. Great to use in custom uses like key chains and pet tags. Good value for cost.

I am able to write to these tags with my iPhone 13 pretty easily. I have only used a few so far but I haven’t had any issues with writeability. Much cheaper alternative to buying amiibo cards, that’s for sure.

Bought these to use with the Tags function in Home Assistant. The Home Assistant app on Android programmed the tags easily first time, and the NFC scan on Android works reliably every time. These were used to track maintenance items in HA such as changing AC filters; just stick the tag beside the filter holder and scan it when done.

They’re easy to program and hold the data reliably, which is exactly what I needed.The main issue I’ve noticed is detection speed. Sometimes my device picks up the tag instantly, but other times it takes a couple of seconds before it registers. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s noticeable, especially when you’re trying to use them frequently. Another downside is that they barely work through phone cases. To get consistent reads, I need the tag directly touching the back of my phone, which limits where I can place them.Aside from those quirks, the tags do what they’re programmed to do every time once scanned. For the price and quantity, they’re still a pretty good value, just don’t expect flawless performance through a case or at a distance.
