Bed went together well.It did have a small crack in one of the posts

I really want to love this frame, my daughter sure does. But there are several things that make this something I would not buy again. 1) it claims the railing to be 14.6 inches. It's actually under 14 inches at the highest point and under 13 inches in most places. Maybe it would be 14.6 inches at the headboard IF you measure from blow the cross slats. 2) There were several places with cracked or splintered or otherwise damaged wood. 3) Black smudges on bookshelves pieces. 4) Light strand doesn't light up fully. Otherwise it's a great bed 😅

The bed is good quality and strong, but some of the parts made it difficult to assemble. Many of the small screws were bunched in one bag and not separated by size, so it was difficult to determine which screws needed to be used. Many of the parts were mislabeled causing me to search for the correct one before realizing the stickers marking them were incorrect. The boards behind the bookshelves are sturdy, but were missing the pre-drilled holes indicated on the instructions, as were the wood boards that they should’ve been screwed into so I had to drill my own holes into it.Otherwise the quality is good and worth the price. Just be prepared to be putting the bed together for a LONG time.
