These are a great addition to keep on hand. They are SUPER loud and do their job accurately. I am grateful for the creator of these sensors as they really give great piece of mind. It does take batteries, but we've had ours for nearly 5 months and they are still going strong.

These things are great! They are simple to use and function just as advertised. We had a sneaky leak under or kitchen sink. By arranging several of these on paper towels in the areas that were getting wet, we were able to find it and fix it. We then re-used them when we had a new dishwasher installed. They picked up a leak from the air gap that would otherwise have just dripped every time we ran the unit until we finally figured out there was a leak way at the back of the cabinet. Useful item. I'll be hanging onto them.

U’ll save alot of money if the Water Leak Detectors alarm goes off. This way u can get the leak fixed before more damage can be done from the water leak.

Loud enough to get your attention, but not to wake the neighbors. In the several months we have had these, we have had a few alarms go off - and not because of what you might call a leak. It has been because of a spill that you should wipe up. Last evening, one went off during my wife's shower because the shower curtain had blown out, and a puddle was forming on the floor. We might not have seen that otherwise. A spill that ran down into the kitchen cabinet -- good to know!

These leak detectors appear to work well. I placed them inside plastic pans under the drain pipes. I have 4 convectors that occasionally have leaks and one of them had a hairline crack in one of the trays which resulted in a slow drip. The detector sounded the alarm and I was able to catch the leak when there was a tiny amount of water in the plastic pan underneath. Had I not had the these, I may not have noticed the leak until I had a puddle or a flood. These are very easy to install and set. They have a volume setting too but even at the lowest setting, they're loud especially because I'm in a one level apartment. I recommended them to others who are also satisfied with the extra protection. Note that this model does NOT connect to your phone for alerts so if you need that option, you'd need to spend more money for a different model.

These saved us from an expensive repairs! Months after I forgot that I place these in the house, I heard a sound. I couldn't figure out what the sound was. I finally remembered that I put one under the kitchen sink. Sure enough, there was a leak. Thank heavens I had these alarms!

Ordered the 5 pack kit. Came as advertised. Complete with batteries. 4 Stars as 4 out of the 5 worked. The 5th water sensor would not work.

Tested one and very responsive. Recommend, Great.. Brought for my RV.
