For Room Service, his first "studio" album in six years, the gravel-voiced singer took a cue from the blueprint of Jackson Browne's "Running on Empty" album and recorded this opus in hotel rooms and backstage at various venues during his tours of Europe between 2002 and 2004. Naturally, the result has a spontaneous, rough feel to it as Adams gets back to basics and away from the tailored studio work he helped perfect in the 1990s. the final package was produced by Bob Clearmountain (Bruce Springsteen, Roxy Music and many more).

"Room Service" is an amazing album and the last that shows off his more rockier side to him like his "Reckless Album" My personal favourite songs on this album are "Room Service", "Nowhere Fast", "Right Back Where I Started From" and ofcourse "Open Road". This album i believe has spawned 2 known tracks, "Room Service" and "Open Road" but don't quote me on that haha!Overall, A really enjoyable to rock out to and would recommend to any Bryan Adams fan :D

bought half a dozen bryan adams cds all at the same time & we're glad we got this one as well, the musics there, the singings there, sounds great in the car as well, get some funny looks as we're rocking away at the lights tho ha ha

Similar to 18 til I die.
This has some great songs on it (East Side Story, Open Road) but there are some right duffers too (Flying, Why do you have to be so hard to love). Bryan Adams has struggled to release a consistent album since Waking up the Neighbours. This album doesn't stop the rot!
