Great for waterproofing
Works great, dries fast.

Great quality
I purchased this for use on a home project and the ease of use paid for itself. The functionality was what I was hoping for. Very easy to apply and the adhesion was spot on. I will be using this seller in the future.

If it could get wet, paint it with this stuff!
This was the first time I have ever used this product, but I would definitely use it again. We remodeled our bathroom and installed a shower. I had no issues with any overpowering smell, cleaning up was easy as long as you do it before it dries. I bought the really cheap paint brushes for this and threw it away after I was done with it. I also had a fan running for venting the bathroom (I had been told that it might be smelly because the red waterproofing from another company is very smelly). I ended up putting three coats on the walls. The stuff works, found it out the hard way. I didn't paint the drywall alongside the shower, just the cement board, and my tiles ended up extending a tiny bit over onto the drywall. Before I painted the walls, I taped off the tile trim to keep it clean, painted and then removed the tape only to have it pull all of the paint off the drywall all the way down to the drywall mud. That's when we realized that the wall was wet still from the tile. We left it to dry for a few days, added a thin coat of mud, additional drying time and repainted. Next time I'll be sure to cover everything that could possibly come in contact with tile! This stuff was super easy to put on the walls, just brush it into the corners and roll the walls. Really bright blue!

Great product!
This waterproofing membrane is amazing at how it works. The thickness makes it a little difficult to spread and I do not feel it actually goes as far as others have claimed. Overall very happy though with the performance and quality this product has provided.

Seems legit: great coverage and decent price
After you tube university told me to use a waterproof membrane on top of the durock, I read about “the red stuff.” That’s what I was initially looking for when I came upon this “blue stuff.” I read the reviews from folks who have likely done this more than once and decided to try it. I ordered the 1gal since it said it would cover 100sqft. When it arrived, I was super skeptical but I managed to cover my standard shower 2-3/4 times. The 3rd coat got cut off about 3/4 or the way to the top. But I probably used more than I needed in the niches. It would have likely covered a full 3 coats without the nooks and crannies. Only time will tell if it’s a good product behind the tile. But as far as I can tell, it’s thick and covers well. I used a paint brush but a roller would definitely have been easier

Good way to seal backerboard
A less expensive alternative to seal backerboard for my shower tile install than the products found at big box hardware stores. Easy to apply. Coverage was generous. Only used half of this container for a 5x3 tub shower surround. Would recommend.

Value
Used this instead of red guard. It worked great and was 25% cheaper.

Unusable, disappointed
When we opened it, it was dried up and unusable. 2 weeks outside the return window and disappointed after spending 60 dollars.
