OK for toilet paper, but could be more absorbent.
This paper used to be great. THIS IS NO LONGER THAT PAPER! As people have noted, it had the "Staedtler" mark in the margin on the left, was made in the USA, had great crisp, clear lines, and was a quality paper. Much like Roaring Spring, but even better. Found an old pad in my office and realized I should really get some . Well, I just ordered some of this for the office, this paper is pure garbage. Thin paper, blurred lines, no brand markings on the actual paper, just on the cover sheet. No wonder they removed the brand marking, they don't want you to remember what the brand was of that terrible paper that you've been using when you go to reorder!I'm going to try Roaring Spring again, hopefully their quality is as good as I remember!

Great Paper for Calculus
This is the best engineering paper to do assignments on. The paper is crisp and supports your lead while keeping lines neat and easy to read. The darker lines behind the page make it easier to draw 3D Graphs in Calculus II. Also, paper doesn't shred while erasing which is very important when you have to start a complicated math problem over several times. Best to use with 2b soft lead because it writes on the page smoother and darker.

This is ass use Ampad or National Brand
Really bad. The first 20 or so pages rip instead of tearing and the paper is very thin, not bond like it claims. Super overpriced for what you get as well.

Best Graph Paper in It's Class
Of all the graph paper, this one is the best quality. The paper is quite thin, but strong. The thinness ensures that the paper won't curl up when humidity is high. (That problem affects the National version of this product). Only buy pads with 100 sheets, not 200 sheets. With the 200 sheet version, it's too much cushion and your hand pressure and the amount of use you need to consume the 100 sheets makes the second 100 sheets a little bendy. So just buy several 100 sheet packages and you're good to go.

Nice product, terrible quality control.
I ordered 3 of these pads and they are all cut incorrectly, making the lines hang off the top of the pad and rendering the title boxes at the top unusable. These title / notation boxes are critical for an engineering application to aid in organization. Not to mention the pads just look poor with the alignment off by almost .5".The paper itself is very nice, and wears well even through a lot of erasures and refiguring. The binding is much thicker than ampad or national pads which keeps the pages on the pad until you want them off. This pad performs very well, and it is unfortunate that the poor quality control makes it unpresentable and therefor relegates it to scratch pad use.

It has lines
Although it has lines as described there are some of the pages that had fattened lines/blurry lines. Although some of the pages did not have sharp crisp lines it does function well, not as good as the 11X17 ones i use at work by the same company though.

Weak but ok
Ordered this Steadtler pad along with the National version at the same time. The Steadtler version's paper feels lighter and its lines are less sharp. The inch lines (every fifth) are nearly indistinguishable from the others. Not bad, really, but there are better options. i.e. National Brand

The real stuff is great, but this seems to be fake
This appears to not be real Staedtler Paper. It is very soft, and although it is supposedly the same paper I purchased in the past (6 months ago which I loved) it is absolute crap. The holes are cut unevenly from the edge, the grid is wrong. Its easy to see the difference from the pictures below. Also, note that the real stuff has Staedtler printed on every page, the new stuff does not. The good paper had writing on it and was used (I erased what I could) but you can clearly see the difference. Even the margins are wrong. They are claiming it is the same product, but it clearly is not the same that it was 6 months ago.
