Works exactly as described and been installed for 5 months without problem.

A fantastic bit of kit. Allows me to control a contactor to remotely turn my hot tub on and off overnight on cheap rate electricity. It also feeds the current power usage into Home Assistant via the Shelly integration. Couldn’t ask for more!

Reliable and Consumer Unit compatible. Fitted multiple units and have had perfect reliability and good accuracy for last 6 months.

I connected one ct clamp to live power in from grid and one to live power in from pv out to grid , I put a plug on mains supply , Works great and seems very accurate . This is one of the best I have tried with a very good app on tablet and phone

Added this to monitor two circuits within my home to give me more granular power consumption, works perfectly with the Shelly Home Assistant integration.If you have a bus bar within your distribution board it will probably obstruct it which will mean either cutting down the bus bar so you have free space at the end or installing in a separate box as I have.

Works very well with lots of information to view and log, unfortunately it was not compatible with other equipment so I had to return it but that no detriment to the Shelly

Using this to monitor incoming power and also EV charger power, Home assistant is outputing 2 graphs showing house usage without the EV usage showing, the Monitor cable was a little short so extened it by 3m testing it on a kettle before and after the extension incase of any issues with monitoring over a longer distance, no issues with the 3.6m cable now

The Shelly Pro EM 50A | LAN & Wi-Fi 2- Channel Energy Meter with Contactor Control is a great unit, but very hard to connect to second wi-fi, I set it up and it worked fine, then move location and tried to set it to a new Wi-Fi router it has been 4 days and it still will not allow me to change Wi-Fi settings, I have reinstalled the software and reset the unit many times no success, very very frustrating, be aware.

Fácil instalación en el cuadro eléctrico, viene con 2 pinzas amperimétricas. Yo no tengo mas productos de Shelly, así que no puedo opinar sobre la integración domótica. Lo uso para el monitoreo de las placas solares. La app te permite monitorizar en tiempo real el consumo de energía de la vivienda, la producción de las placas solares y el volcado/consumo de red o baterías. Gráficas diarias, por mes, año, etc. Funciona con la wifi de casa y te da información suficiente y bastante exacta sobre tu consumo energético en cualquier momento y lugar. Solo encuentro a faltar en la app, disponible en apps de otos medidores (y otros precios), el diferenciar el consumo por electrodoméstico. De momento sin problemas de funcionamiento y satisfecho con la comprs.

I had to have the electrician come back as the clamps that go onto the main are hard coded to incoming or outgoing power. I don't know why they built it that way as the signal clearly comes through just fine either way...just negative when it should be positive.It's great to know how much power I'm using and it was very quick to setup with home assistant for automations based on power usage. I've paired it with some outlet meters from Shelly which are working great to know if I'm actively sitting in the office based on power usage for some useful automations.

Very easy setup either ethernet or wi-fi. Current readings and voltages match closely with my Fluke DMM. I am still experimenting with all the available features. The desktop and Android apps have both worked well. If you are interested in power consumption with the ability to control the load I would consider this item.
