STZ6307 Zero Clearance Table Saw Insert Plate fits for SKIL Table Saw TS6307-00

I purchased the Gean Zero Clearance Table Saw Plate Insert about a year ago for my Skil table saw, and it’s still holding up like a champ. The fit was perfect right out of the box—no sanding, no adjusting, just drop it in and get to work. I actually grabbed two since the price was too good to pass up, and I’m glad I did because having a backup is never a bad idea in the shop. This insert helps reduce tear-out and keeps my cuts looking clean and precise every time. If you want tighter cuts and less sawdust drama, grab one (or two) of these inserts before they vanish like your 10mm socket. EASY TO Put on the table saw, just dropped in. Well worth the upgrade for any weekend woodworker or full-time shop hero!

I recently bought a Skil table saw and I'm loving it. The only thing I've upgraded other than the blade was the insert plate. A zero clearance plate makes a big difference. This one fit perfectly and seems like it will hold up well.

Great product for what it is. Shipping took a long time though. Look elsewhere if you’re in a hurry.

Fit great and easy to use

It's a pretty simple product. I'm happy with it. You literally just install it in place of your stock throat plate, turn on the saw and slowly raise the blade, so it cuts a custom, perfectly sized, zero clearance notch for that blade. It does feel a bit less sturdy than the stock plate. The stock seems to be made of thicker material, this one does have a bit of flex, if you really push on it. Which, I don't, so it's not much of an issue. Downsides, of course, being that if you need to make an angled cut, or use a dado stack, or anything than a 90° cut with the one blade you used to make it, it's going to be ruined. You'll either need to get a second one of these to make custom to your dado stack, or go back to the stock plate maybe.

It seems to vibrate when I turn on the saw and causes the blade to take little tiny bits out of the “zero clearance” area. It may be due to my saw not having a soft start. When it’s turned on, it comes to life hard and fast! It came with screws to fasten it down. However, my saw isn’t equipped with screw holes. Maybe I’ll drill and tap the saw and see if that helps.

This is a really nice addition to my Skill table saw. It is well designed and will be purchasing again.

This insert dropped right into my saw with no issues and made a noticeable improvement in cut quality. The zero-clearance design helps eliminate tear-out, especially on plywood and melamine. Yes, it’s plastic, but that’s the point. You need a material the blade can cut into safely to create a precise kerf slot. And this does it perfectly. It stayed flat after the initial cut and hasn’t warped or flexed under pressure. If you're looking to upgrade your stock insert without spending a ton, this is a solid move. Just remember to raise your blade slowly the first time to cut the opening.

It is not straight.

Fits perfect and is good quality. If it was a bit thicker it would take the flex out of it.
