Fits perfectly and easy to install with clear instructions included. Disc based games have no apparent lag issues. Blu-ray and DVD discs playback at appropriate speed. Came with stand feet to allow ventilation if storing horizontally. Now we have a way to watch, play, or listen to disc-format media without needing a separate device. Very happy with this purchase.

I have been holding off on getting this as I really only play digital games. My PS5 pro has been working well without it but I noticed I wanted to start getting physical games again because of deals and being able to save a bit of money. This was a good investment and brings me back to the days with my original PS5. Now I can watch physic movies and play older and new games with a disc. Physically media is a lost art nowadays. Really enjoying it!

Easy to install and it automatically updates once you turn it on.

I bought this for my Pro to watch JoJo and other anime as well as 4k movies.

Works as expected I wish PlayStation had dolby Vision

The disc drive addition for my PS5 is pretty awesome. I originally purchased the disc free digital PS5, but my mom and my sister each got me games I asked for for my birthday in April, and they were physical copies. So I had to get the disc drive add on. I was planning on getting it anyways since I love to watch dvd's. It was actually very easy to install. I installed it myself. The only negative comment I have about the PS5 disc drive is that it can't play music cd's, and I love to listen to music and have a lot of cd's. Other than that it's great to have. It's very handy to have, and it's very quiet as far as noise level goes. The only time it really makes noise is if you're ejecting or inserting a disc. When playing however, it's extremely quiet. Had to take a star away for not being able to play music cd's. Other than that, it's perfect.

So far so Great. Ok so I’m like most every other gamer in the world. Meaning I didn’t buy my PS5 for a few years after, in case there were bugs or something needed to be found out before I put up the Cash . So by the time I ended up getting one it was 2024. So by then I found a Slim Digital model I ended up finally buying. I absolutely love it and of course I bought everything (well pretty much everything) as far as accessories I could . I was happy with my digital version but really wished I would have bought the Disc drive Bundle. You would think installing something like this Disc drive add on would be somewhat harder to install? Man was I happily mistaken to find out how easy it was to install. PlayStation really hit one out the park when it comes to adding this Drive to my PS5 Slim digital version. Couple snaps off and couple snapped back n was installed. By the time my wife turns around it was instantly installed. Now I can play disc games and/or dvd n blue rays . Now I can unhook the DVD player I had so frees up n HDMI spot in my tv. NEVER got 1 Problem installing it or any since. So far everything works perfectly and am very happy. Please don’t read the reviews saying it’s not worth it or doesn’t work cuz it does with NO issues. I’m happy with everything.

Ich bin von der PS 4 Pro die PS 5 Pro umgestiegen, da ich mich nur schwer von alten Dingen trennen kann, habe ich mir überlegt die PS 4 samt der Spiele zu behalten. Um aber nicht immer zwischen den Konsolen hin und her zu wechseln und damit meine alte PS 4 ihren Ruhestand voll ausleben kann, habe ich dieses Laufwerk für meine PS 5 gekauft und bin begeistert. Alle meine PS 4 Spiele werden erkannt und das Laufwerk war in nicht einmal 5 Minuten installiert und voll funktionstüchtig. Super, so muss das sein.

Si installa molto facilmente sulla mia PS5 Pro senza problemi. Ottimo per chi vuole giocare tradizionalmente tramite i CD come una volta.

Expensive thanks to shortage of PS5 Slim Disc Drives. Packaging seal was broken but everything else seemd to be intact. Delivered before due date. Simple installation and works. PS5 games are cheaper majority of times in Aus compared to PS digital sales.
