is this ok without refrigeration?

i store this in a cool closet until after it is opened. once i open a bottle i place it in the fridge. I am not endorsing storing an open bottle anywhere other than the fridge since I've never tried. However, these bottles are NOT hermetically or vacuum sealed from the factory. Therefore, I BELIEVE you could store this without refrigeration if you kept it 'clean' (and at least cool).

Are the soybeans from which it is produced "round-up ready" soybeans?

"Round Up Ready" soy beans are not classified as conforming to most organic standards within the U.S. However, please keep in mind that standards elsewhere may differ along with permitted labelling. (side note/ FYI: what you are most likely concerned with here is not the seed used for the beans, but what or if they have been treated)

what is the sodium content

According to their Amazon description, 322mg/tsp (or 966ml/TBSP). But according to the English label on the bottle, 720mg/TBSP (shown in Review photos). One or both numbers are wrong. In Japan, large bottles very often come in 720ml size; I think whoever translated the label mistook the bottle size (720ml) for the salt content. 720mg/TBSP is rather low, and hard to believe because it is actually a really good quality shoyu, fairly comparable to Kishibori (which has a much higher salt content).
