Made It Work
Mechanically it works as expected and I am happy with the product. Works great! In my case, for my particular machine: To get it to line-up with the wiring in my 20+ year-old Kenmore, I had to unscrew the electrical connector for the heater coil from the reflector (originally in 2-o’clock position), disconnect the entire heater coil and rotate it all, to line-up with the other mounting hole for the electrical connector (4-o’clock position). This was not difficult, but added about another 30 minutes to the process. Phillips-head screwdriver and needle-nose pliers is all it takes.

It went on just right and fit great. Cut my hand up a little bit but I believe that's my own fault. Best advice I have is be careful when putting it in because of the screw holes, the way they are designed to make sure they hold the screw makes them a little sharp. Definitely worth the money spent. Before it was hearing the backside of the dryer up and now the heat is just right on the inside.

Dryer works again!
I ordered this for my heating element replacement, the housing did not fit correctly but I was able to use the old housing and placed the heating core in it. Dryer works perfect again!

Make sure you get the right version
This part number has two versions. So you need to open up your dryer and see where the plug ins for the high limit switch and the element are. One version, they are next to each other on the metal base, the other version they are in two different locations. The metal base has screw holes in different locations as well, so they are not interchangeable. We unknowingly ordered the wrong version. Instead of waiting for a new part since the dryer was down, we robbed the high limit switch and element off the wrong base and installed them on our base. Save yourself time and order the right version.

Worked for old kenmore laundry center, delivery was slightly delayed
Exactly the part I needed for kenmore laundry center which is pretty old (from sears old) very easy to install if you know how. Fits great, heats well, I've only had it and few months but durable so far & functioning well.

Good product
Nice part but it’s easier and more cost effective to just replace the element. They are mostly universal. But if you need the shelf for some reason then this would be it.
