I LOVE this chair!
I've never been one to spend crazy money for an office chair before, but with some years piling up on the old body and back and body pain and discomfort increasing, I finally decided if it helped in that regard, it would be money well spent. I picked Steelcase looking for something solid but not totally insane on the price (and it's certainly not cheap). This chair hits on everything I was hoping for. First, it looks fantastic! Back and body pain while seated for hours and hours at a time working has been totally eliminated. The adjustability meant a few minutes of getting it dialed in, and then I haven't had to touch it since. It's definitely built in a way you'd expect, given the price. As for price, yes, it is substantial; no getting around that. This is no bargain chair, but you get what you pay for.The only knock (sort of) I could say is that I did have to change the wheels on the chair. The stock wheels are so smooth that the chair may as well have been on ice on my tile floor. I mean, standing up, I would bump the seat with the back of my leg, and the chair would roll to the other side of the room! That meant I had to be careful when sitting and grab the seat with one hand so it wouldn't slide away. They're also wide enough that I couldn't even feel the joints in the tile! It was truly like sliding on ice. Of course, that's really both a pro and a con depending on your surface, but I think speaks positively to the quality of each component of the chair. Just beware if you're on wood or tile that you may want to change those out for something a bit less free rolling.Really the only improvement I think Steelcase could add would be if the arms could fold away entirely. They're very easily adjustable in every way to get the perfect position for your arms, except if you need them to go away entirely. That won't matter in most cases, but if I pick up my guitar, I have to slide forward in the seat to avoid banging it on the arms of the chair. Obviously, that's not an issue for most people, and I can't ding the chair overall for not having a feature that most wouldn't use. Still, it would certainly be a nice addition for some of us!Overall, this chair is pretty darned close to perfect and given the price, I expected nothing less! You won't feel like you got a bargain, but you'll definitely feel like you got everything that you paid for!

Steelcase has done it again!
This is an excellent desk/office/task chair. It is very adjustable in every way. It was easy to make the height, seat, arms, and back comfortable. It is rather pricey/expensive for a home desk chair. But I'm glad that I made the investment. One bonus was that the chair was already assembled when it arrived. I gather that Amazon had bought a lot of chairs from Steelcase, asking that they be assembled first. The box it was in would not fit through the front door of my house! Luckily, the weather was beautiful that day and I was able to take the box apart outside. The chair itself fit beautifully. This was one of my best purchases through Amazon.

Outstanding for an Old Man at Home
I needed a comfortable office chair for working at home two days per week. I am 65 years old and have back issues. Fortunately, the conference room in my office had the Steelcase Think chairs. I took one chair from the conference room into my office and tried it for a week. It felt fine, so I purchased one and now after almost a year using it at home I have absolutely no issues with it. It is comfortable and my back feels great after sitting in it for the whole day. It’s not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Two Design Shortfalls: Lumbar support keeps sliding down and sharp corners that hits calves
Two Design Shortfalls: Lumbar support keeps sliding down and sharp corners that hits calves.Oct 2022 Update:The chair is not comfortable at all. The lean and adjusting mechanisms are sloppy and has too much play for a specific setting for your back. So, you never end up with a good setting like proper height lumbar support.

It's a good chair, but overpriced.
It's better than what I had before, but in retrospect after seeing the materials and how it holds up, I should have gone with an Aeron considering the price when I got it wasn't a huge difference. A used Aeron would be preferred to this chair.

Poor lower back support
I have had this chair for 5 months and the primary reason I bought it was for my lower back pain. We’ll all I can say is this chair does a bad job on that.I don’t recommend it and it doesn’t do anything to support lower back pain as advertised.Waste of lots of money
