RCA Bluetooth Plug In Outlet Speaker for Wireless Music Streaming (White) WPBT1

This is quite the sleeper purchase. For a low budget outlet speaker, (much-much less than any of the few completing brands out there) it performs wonderfully. It has a suprisingly wide range (in terms of sound). As for blue tooth range - aprox 25 feet or so max. However, that being said for the money its a Fantastic purchase. Just simply plug and play. Perfect for anyone, of any age with a blue tooth enabled device that enjoys music at a decent volume. Granted, you won't get earth shaking base or crystal shattering highs, but you will get good clear music relayed and amplified via blue tooth from your favorite device. So, with that in mind if you're in the market for a sweet little wireless outlet speaker thats easy on the vurtual wallet... this is it.

I've owned several bluetooth speakers and have been annoyed with many of them. They either stopped working, or the sound was dismal, or the battery completely drained. Well this little compact speaker has been wonderful! It's always plugged in so never runs out of juice, easy to connect, sound is great for its size, and it's very stylish and unobtrusive.

More like 4.5 stars. Great product overall just a tiny quirk when it comes to it being unplugged. Works great if you don't unplug it, my phone connects to it automatically. Only glitch is when its unplugged, i have to delete the pairing from my phone and re-pair the devices. Not a real big deal and definitely something thats overshadowed by the fact that i don't have to worry about batteries or charging. Sound is pretty good given its size, i use it to listen to tunes or podcasts in the shower and its more than loud enough to hear over my shower.

I was constantly trying to find a clean dry space to set my phone in my kitchen while cooking or cleaning so I could listen to podcasts or light music, so I gave up an unused outlet to this speaker and it's just about perfect (in fact I can set my phone on TOP!). Loses one star for not great sound, I'd prefer it be a bit more crisp for podcast-listening, but okay sound, and for less than $15 I'm very happy with my purchase. :)EDIT: It paired once and now it doesn't pair anymore. what a waste.

Very easy to set up and use. The sound could be richer, with more bass, but sounds ok for some uses, and a great price for something that, so far, works as expected.Update: about a week later, the thing will not pair with my iPhone, as previously. Can't figure out how to get it back... my office mate can still pair, but I cannot. Hoping for info from the maker, and I'll gladly change my review. For now, its a bust.

I have these in my exam rooms at work, and run them individually off cheap cell phones from Walmart that connect to Pandora through my office Wi-Fi. The first set I picked up at Walmart and they were $60 for 2. Once I saw how good they worked, I ordered more off Amazon, at a much reduced price. It's a great way to have different music in different rooms, and I can adjust the volume easily by toggling up or down on the cell phone volume, if a song is unexpectedly loud. I love the fact that they are plugged into an outlet and never need recharging. I wish you could run more than one speaker off one device, but I think I've found a simple work-around with the cheap cell phones.

good speaker for $7. every once in a while i can't connect to it but forgetting it and reconnecting seems to fix the problem

Purchases this for my son to have the ablility to go to sleep to instrumental music. Easy to connect and works very well. My wife has it synced with her phone and every night she connects to our internet radio station and plays it for him.Sound quality is not amazing if you are looking for bass or stereo sound. Piano and voice come across wonderful and I would recommend this product to everyone.
