Not cheap but not expensive for a quality product

They arrived in a timely manner properly packaged and easy to install

The filter worked very well. The city did some water pipe repairs locally and mud came down the line. The filter was replaced by a plumber after only 3 days. A simple white filter was covered with dirt. The water quality in the house remained excellent. It saved a lot of money replacing fixtures etc.

These things work great. I use them to filter out all the sediment from my well and they catch a lot of junk. The filters last me about 6 months!

This a great first filter of three in my whole house setup. My filters are Pentek 75/25 sediment, 50/5 sediment, and FloPlus carbon block. I originally had the 50/5 filter as my first filter, but that got clogged up after about 6 weeks, so I switched to the current setup. I guess I have more sediment in my water than I thought. So far, the sediment filters have lasted about 3 months and the carbon about 6 months with about 4-5,000 gallons of usage per month. My city water plant uses chloramine, and chlorine test strips indicate zero total and zero free chlorine after 6 months with this setup, so zero chloramines.

Went from a smaller micron to a bigger one in the same brand, plugged up right away, doesn’t make sense at all should have lasted longer

These dual media filters are incredible. I have a 3 stage system that is fed from lake water. This filter is my first stage, then I go down to 5 micron, then carbon, then UV. Compared to a standard 20 micron filter, I would say this one lasts about 3x as long before becoming plugged. If your water is rich in sediment or tannin, and your filters are plugging up fairly quickly, this may be a good option. You will still need something finer before UV, but its a great initial step.

Cheaper then ordering from company, and arrived quicker exactly what I needed to open the cottage. Will order again for sure

We use this filter as part of a whole house 3 filter system - 2 polyspun and then a carbon filter. Our well water is high in iron and sodium and after filtration we produce lovely tasting, sparkling clean water.
