Gun Holster fits Colt 45 1911 & Springfield 1911 A1

I bought this because I didn’t want to spend a lot of money for something I would be using to protect my pistol (Colt .45acp 1911 Gold Cup) when I put it in glove box. I do wear it when out at my friends ranch. Pistol fits perfectly, and the pocket for an extra magazine is great. It is well constructed, and I have no problem recommending it.The clip works good for a quick way to wear it so hands are free, but I use it with belt if I am carrying pistol for more than a few minutes.

This is good for left or right handed folks. You can slide your belt through the loop for open carry, or use the clip for inside the pants for concealed carry. This holster fit my Springfield 1911 A1 like a glove, and was good with my Colt and Kimbers. For an ambidextrous soft holster, you can't beat the price, quality, or versatility of this one. I give it 5 stars for the moment, but have yet to test it on the range, or in a real combat and/or defensive situation. Once that happens, I'll come back and let you know the real world results, given that the results were in my favor, otherwise, well, enjoy my last review. Cheers! =)

Holster is great and the seller was very helpful in guiding me to ordering the correct model for my older S&W pistol. Lots of adjustment on the holster and the price is hard to beat!Have bought another few and happy with all of them.

I have a punisher comp that would not fit in this holster so I had to cut the threds back and reinforce the wider opening at its base. When I put it on my belt I found the clip was to far to the rear to keep the gun tight to my side. So I ended up taking the clip off all together and using the velcro base thats perfect for a belt. Finally, the adjustable snap was a good idea but hard to use quickly. I ended up replacing it with one long velco strap thats skinner, fits better and easier to use. Now it works perfectly for me but did take some re-work.

I like the fact the holster can be ambidextrous, it's soft and won't mar the gun, space for an extra mag. May not be good for fast draw competion, but for EDC or occasional carry, seems to work well.

This holster is designed for the Colt 45 1911 model and its many equivalents. At the price I was skeptical that I would like this holster, but I do, very much. This one fits the gun nicely, appears beautifully made, and is really quite snappy. There is a neat magazine pouch in the front, so with this holster you are all set. It can quickly be converted to a left-hand holster if you are a lefty. This is not a cross-draw holster, by the way (which was fine with me.) Highly recommended. RJB.

I bought this holster for a Colt 1911 22. The fit is perfect, and the material is substantial. It can be worn either right or left-hand, and I prefer to lace my belt through the belt loop rather than use the metal clip. I have a similar holster for a Smith SD9VE which has been excellent.
