I was initially skeptical about using window film but after reading the excellent reviews I thought I would give it a go.Being on a tight budget and not being able to afford a blind I needed something for privacy in my bedroom without sacrificing the light.Its very durable,easy to cut and apply.(even for an idiot like me) I watched a You Tube video,this helped a lot and the finish I got was very good.My only advice would be to make sure you have a new blade in your knife for trimming the edges, I made the mistake of not replacing mine and cut it ragged on the last corner. Overall though a great product and I will probably order more in the near future for another room.

Product has a glittery finish - looks acid etched inside in daylight but from outside the sparkle is unmistakable and rather tacky. At night the reverse happens and the sparkle shoes up inside under the glare of artificial light. Not good.It is also stripey. The product has a subtle stripe going through it at around 1cm intervals. Unfortunately this isn't advertised - I cut three pieces for a bay window to maximise use of the product and now have two windows with vertical stripes and one with horizontal stripes. I carefully peeled the backing off on the diagonal so definitely not caused by application.On the plus side, it isn't too difficult to put up provided you do your homework.

Brilliant! Great value for the privacy it delivers, especially hallway windows without compromising on light especially when living in the city and overlooked by so many flats. Etched effect looks great and subtle. I prefer it to the patterned stuff available which looks very 1980s. Quite easy to apply using wet sponge and doesn't leave marks on windows if you make a mistake but try not to crease the film.

A good quality film, not as easy to apply as it looks on the demo sites....

After a slight hiccup received the goods as ordered. Easy to use and does the job required.

Excellent product. It has saved me loads of money after purchasing obscure double glazing that wasn't obscure enough .my brother in law put it up with no problem after he had found the enclosed scraper.

First time I've used this type of product, and I managed to complete the task to a high standard with minimum fuss.

Used on bedroom windows as they are overlooked. First one was tricky and ended up with a few bubbles (nothing major) but the other three once you get the hang of it look fantastic. Definitely suggest using a window squeegy and wiping from the middle outwards.
